Comrade de Blasio still wants to fight for the 2020 nomination

Real Clear Politics poll average for 2020 Democrats has Bill de Blasio [aka Warren Wilhelm Jr.]  polling at an anemic 0.3 percent. Technically, that's less than one percent for you statistics buffs. He was hoping to give his campaign a shot in the arm with his appearance in Iowa but it had the same effect as a ouija board predicting the stock market.

De Blasio tried to promote his appearance ahead of time with this promo:

On Sunday, August 11, you can see de Blasio at 10 am at Parlor City, 1125 3rd St. SE, in Cedar Rapids, and Jay Inslee at 4 pm at Indian Creek Nature Center, 5300 Otis Road SE, in Cedar Rapids. I hope to see you there. #iacaucus

Sorry, I couldn't make it, but if I had, he would've had an audience of about 16 people, not including his staff who were willing to play the crowd in a friendly game of Bandy, the national game of Russia.

His polling numbers, therefore, give us a sense of accuracy.

De Blasio doesn't care. He still hopes to rake in some of those campaign donation bucks and use them for his next mayoral campaign.
