Colorado -- El padre of one of the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooters is an illegal alien and a serial felon, the DailyMail.com reported.
Jose Evis Quintana is the papa of the alleged killer, a 16-year-old whose name will not be revealed as it has been determined that giving these shooters publicity tends to create copycat killers. The father had been incarcerated for 15 months for domestic violence against his wife and for "menacing with a weapon."
So the manzana evidently doesn't fall far from the ábol.
Quintana's daughter is a transgender who believes she's a boy. She has been charged with her 18-year-old friend of killing one student and injuring eight others.
According to records, Quintana, 33, has been deported twice and has a long record of arrests in Colorado from 2008 to 2017.
Court papers show that despite Quintana terrorizing the alleged shooter's mother Morgan Lynn McKinney, 32, he managed to convince the co-dependent woman to marry him in 2009, a year before his first deportation.
Quintana, 33, who admitted to having a history of alcohol and drug problems, was sent back to his native Mexico on December 9, 2010.
The transgender 16-year-old had posted a message on social media about missing her father, just 11 days before the Tuesday May 7 shooting which saw her and her friend, an 18-year-old, allegedly kill one student and injure eight others.
Transgender shooter, who was born a girl, turned 16 on April 14 and wrote on twitter on April 26: 'My mom talking to me about how she hates the new xxxx. Mom: I miss my xxxx can you find him for me. Me: I miss my dad can you find him for me.'
One can easily see how social media has turned the new generation into grammatical illiterates, but that's another story.
In August 2009, Quintana was jailed on a weapon and domestic violence charge against Morgan Lynn McKinney, a hairstylist and lipstick technician.
On August 22, 2008, Quintana was charged with attempting to kidnap, 'menacing' with a weapon, and failing to stop for police, in the same spirit as Beto O'Rourke who ran from them due to being drunk and getting caught.
He was arrested He was jailed on February 3, 2009, pending his trial, when he failed to see a court official.
Court papers said Quintana "wishes to stay in custody since he has a problem with drugs and alcohol."
The court agreed and also allowed Quintana to have supervised visits with his transgender daughter who believes she is a boy, and her siblings in jail, on condition Morgan was not present.
On July 29, 2009, with Quintana in jail pending his trial, Morgan successfully gained permanent custody of their three children.
On September 2009 Quintana was sentenced to 15 months in prison when all the charges against him, apart from "menacing" Morgan with a weapon, were dropped. He was also ordered to undergo domestic violence counseling, but no psychiatric evaluation was ordered, as should have been.
Despite the sentence and the crimes Quintana committed against her, Morgan, proving to be a fully-fledged idiot, married Quintana in Castle Rock on November 28, 2009.
Quintana was finally deported and sent back to Mexico on December 9, 2010.
In divorce papers filed by Morgan on November 19, 2014, Morgan described how Quintana 'has been traveling illegally between Colorado and Mexico' since the deportation.
Morgan was unable to serve Quintana with papers but the court granted her a divorce on May 11, 2015.
On December 27, 2016, police in Castle Rock learned a warrant had been issued against Quintana in New Mexico for domestic violence.
They found him at a house in Castle Rock and arrested him for being a fugitive from justice. He was jailed pending his extradition to New Mexico.
Quintana never made it to New Mexico. On April 21, 2017, he was taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and deported. Democrats were furious, but ICE did their job in spite of the pushback.
On July 4, 2017, his daughter posted on his twitter account "And I wonder why my dad left."
She may have been the victim of bullying at the school. On January 25, 2019, she posted on twitter: 'F**K stem kids i swear to f*****g god," causing Tom Perez to cheer her for her bold language [although he referred to her as a "he."]
It has been revealed five months before the shooting, a district official urged the school's executive director Penelope Eucker to investigate allegations made by a mother who was concerned that student bullying could lead to the next "Columbine."
The December 19 letter said the anonymous parent had raised "concerns about student violence due to a high-pressure environment."
It added that the mother had told Douglas County School Board of Education Director Wendy Vogel by telephone that "many students are suicidal and violent in school. Several students have reported sexual assault and nothing is being done."
The letter referenced an alleged bomb threat and an extremely high drug culture at STEM.
The parent had said she was worried about a repeat of what happened at Columbine High School, where 12 students and one teacher were killed, about five miles northwest of the STEM school.
It was the 25th anniversary for the Columbine massacre on April 16 this year.
The school hired a lawyer and told parents on February 1st that it was looking at taking legal action against the unnamed mother who had made, what turned out to be foretelling accusations.
Imagine, taking legal action against a mother with concerns over the safety of the children in her kid's school.
