Clueless California teacher insults US military as 'lowest of the low'

A rather clueless California teacher, Gregory Salcido, doesn't realize that we live in a time when everyone has a mobile phone and most have the ability to video and photograph. If Salcido had this awareness, he wouldn't have ranted in the classroom against the armed forces of the United States, calling them "the frickin' lowest of the low."

A student caught it on video and it went viral.

The El Rancho High School history teacher, who also serves as an elected Pico Rivera city councilman and was once mayor (can you guess which party?), even said that those in the military overseas are failed students who had no choice but to serve."

By the way, the party in question is . . . Democratic! Good guess.

"Think about the people you know who are over there," the moron is heard saying on the video. "Your freakin' stupid Uncle Louie or whatever. They're dumb s***s. They're not high-level bankers. They're not academic people. They're not intellectual people."

"They're the freakin' lowest of our low."

Because this cow paddy is obviously an intellectual genius, one can easily freakin' see.

And he isn't intelligent enough to consider who in his class has a family member in the military, and who might, therefore, seek to complain or record him. In fact, this guy, if he ever served in the military, would probably get himself and his brothers in arms killed. In the Marine Corps, we refer to guys like him as 'sh**birds.'

This sh**bird is also heard questioning why military recruiters were allowed to visit the school.

I can answer that: because it gives morons the right to question why military recruiters were allowed to visit the school.

"We don't allow pimps to come into the school," he says, comparing military recruiters to his father.

The post on Facebook with the ranting videos had almost 1.5 million views as of Saturday, the Orange County Register reports.

District Superintendent Karling Aguilera-Fort told the newspaper that he hadn't spoken to the Salcido because the teacher is in New York, but would be disciplined upon his return.

The sh**bird posted a statement on his personal Facebook page from New York.
"The Salcido 3 just got out of an excellent musical, 'The Band's Arrival.' I turned my phone back on to unexpectedly see a storm. I don't think it's wise for me to make any specific comments, but I want my friends, family, and students to know we are fine and we respect the rights of free expression for all individuals."
But he actually did make a specific comment about the First Amendment. Great.

I hope he gets fired, ends up jobless, and has to enlist to make ends meet.

Pico Rivera Mayor Gustavo Camacho issued a statement that simply said the city was founded upon the "principles, values and sacrifices of our many veterans who when called upon, served with great pride and honor."

The student said he shot the video Jan. 19 in a government class at the Pico Rivera school. He took out his cellphone when Salcido began lecturing another student who wore a US Marines sweatshirt. "I was very angry," the student said.

He apparently shot the video surreptitiously from beneath his desk.

The student told the Register that the teacher went too far when saying those in the military were stupid and only joined as a last resort.

"It was so disrespectful to my dad and my uncles and all veterans and those still in the military," the student who shot the video said. His father was a Marine Corps veteran (pronounced 'Corpse' by Obama) and fought in Afghanistan, Desert Storm and Vietnam.

He said the video wasn't meant to go public but his mother shared it with her friends "and now it's this."

Salcido clearly isn't the swiftest lily in the stream.

In 2010 he was accused by a parent of making inappropriate comments about race to his summer school class, the Register reported. He denied the allegation and was suspended for the remainder of the summer session.

In 2012, he was accused of smacking one of his students who he said was disruptive.

I'd like to see that sh**bird try smacking a Marine . . . including a Woman Marine.

Let me just say, that I have met some of the brightest and most patriotic people in the military, having actually been in the military. I doubt that Salcido has ever served, nor actually knows anyone, knows them at a deep level, who has actually served.

The military is one of the very few branches of government that works efficiently, and they are willing to die so that sh**birds like Salcido can have the right to say whatever stupid things enter his small mind.
