Albany, NY -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo is proposing that taxpayers foot the bill for students at New York public colleges to eligible residents because he believes that New Yorkers are not taxed enough.
The leftist governor unveiled his socialist plan Tuesday morning at LaGuardia Community College in Queens as he stood side-by-side with U.S. Senator and socialist Bernie Sanders of "Vahmont" (Vermont).
Sanders, who was screwed over royally by the Democratic National Committee in his bid for the Democratic nomination for president, pushed for free tuition at all U.S. public colleges and didn't care about the "damn taxpayers" or the emails.
Cuomo's plan would have the taxpayer pay for a State University of New York or City University of New York college, including two-year community colleges that now have taken on he characteristics of high schools but with angrier students. The tuition would be paid by taxpayers for students whose families earn less than $125,000.
The ostensible reason for taxpayer-funded tuition at zero cost to upper middle income families and below is to teach students the art of pick-pocketing.
Cuomo's proposal would have the program begin this fall but would require the approval of the leftist New York Legislature.
New York has the largest public university system in the country with 440,000 students and 64 campuses across the state.
Once tuition is paid for by taxpayers who may or may not have kids, you can bet that there's going to be a spike in the number of illegal residents and immigrants who will take advantage of the taxpayers.
