Pinellas County, Florida -- Democrats are upset that the supervisor of elections has decided to hold voter registration drives in nine area Chick-fil-A locations during this week of National Voter Registration Day.
Susan McGrath, leader of the Pinellas Stonewall Democrats and head of the county Democratic Executive Committee, also a pro-LGBT equality group, says she's in favor of getting out the vote, just not at Chick-fil-A, or, in other words, not the Republican vote.
The restaurant chain is based in Georgia and is known for its fried chicken sandwiches and its adherence to the Southern Baptist culture. It's closed on Sundays, doesn't support killing babies, and opposes same-sex marriage. Or, in other words, it's conservative and Susan McGrath is worried that too many Republican conservatives will register to vote and make it difficult for late-term abortion advocate, phony woman supporting and schrieking Hillary Clinton to win the state of Florida.
Unless the Democrats head out to the cemeteries and register Democratic voters and convince the ones who are still standing upright to vote as often as possible for the former Worst Lady.
McGrath wrote a letter to Elections Supervisor Debby Clark, who chose Chick-fil-A for the voter drives, saying: "As an elected official, you have a duty to be evenhanded and fair. Surely, you and your office staff do understand that using Chick-fil-A as the base for voter registration activities is not only inherently unfair but overly partisan as well. This company has a strong and well-understood history of anti-LGBT activism and is publicly associated with Republican Party values."
She compared it to a Democratic supervisor deciding to hold the event at Planned Parenthood, the abortion factory that has donated to Democrats for years because they are granted public funding even from conservatives who are against their practices.
McGrath implied that since recent surges in Democrats registering to vote may have inspired her to hold registration in a place where Democrats tend to avoid, but in reality, many Democrats have admitted to not only being chicken, but to have eaten chicken, so there's no reason to believe they avoid the restaurant chain based on the owner's religious views. That would be like anti-Semites not using their cell phone apps because they were invented by an Israeli.
McGrath is what I call a political micro-aggressionist. She looks for anything she can use to pretend Democrats are victims of the Republican bully gang. The truth is, nobody at Planned Parenthood or Chick-fil-A can tell you how to vote and if you're too stupid to know that, you might be a liberal.
McGrath is an idiot to assume that people can actually make up their own minds on who to vote for, in spite of the chicken or dead babies the establishments produce.
