Crosby, Stills &. Nash give up their virtue-signaling Spotify protest of Joe Rogan

"Whaaa whaaa wee ooo, California"

The old singers Crosby, Stills and Nash returned to Spotify ending a five-month protest of podcaster Joe Rogan. The group were in short-term solidarity with ex-band member Neil Young because the falsetto singing Canadian was upset with Rogan for his assessment of COVID-19 that disagreed with Young's, and this upset him so much that he gave the Sweden-based streaming company the ultimatum: "They can have Rogan or Young. Not both." This was written to Spotify's parent company, Warner Records.

They chose Rogan over the Canadian has-been. Money talks, falsetto squawks.

So Young's buddies pulled their library of songs off the streaming platform while Rogan continued to rake in the dough faster than an omicron spread. Now the Geritol geriatrics have returned to Spotify and pledged that they will donate their earnings to charities aiding those infected with COVID-19, according to Billboard. Hopefully they won't "pull an Amber Heard" and just pledge without the donating part.

Joe Rogan, who signed a $200 million exclusive licensing agreement with Spotify in May 2020 is one of Spotify’s most listened-to podcasts, with an estimated audience of about 11 million frequent listeners.

Soon after Young had his hissy-fit and removed his falsetto singing off Spotify, his former bandmates David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash released a statement in February which read: “We support Neil and we agree with him that there is dangerous disinformation being aired on Spotify’s Joe Rogan podcast.”

“While we always value alternate points of view, knowingly spreading disinformation during this global pandemic has deadly consequences,” the band’s statement read at a time when people knew as much about COVID-19 as barbers knew about performing heart surgery in 1850.

“Until real action is taken to show that a concern for humanity must be balanced with commerce, we don’t want our music — or the music we made together — to be on the same platform,” they virtue signaled, as a ploy to somehow regain a modicum of relevance.

"Hello cowgirl in the sand"

Spotify agreed to take down Young’s falsetto singing, saying in a statement: “We want all the world’s music and audio content to be available to Spotify users. With that comes great responsibility in balancing both safety for listeners and freedom for creators.”

Like the everything bagel, we now live in a world of everything politics.

The company added: “We have detailed content policies in place and we’ve removed over 20,000 podcast episodes related to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic. We regret Neil’s decision to remove his music from Spotify, but hope to welcome him back soon.”In late January, Neil Young ordered his record company, Falsetto Rocks, to pull his library off of Spotify, to which people of good taste thanked him, or possibly her--you can't tell by the voice.

Other old singers including Joni Mitchell and Doofling Danson also pulled their music from Spotify. Danson was best known for "I'll Just Be Your Clown If There's No One Around, I'll Just Be Your Fool If It Makes Me Look Cool."

So now that the boys in the band are returning to Spotify, we all look forward to hearing their next hit, "Hang Up The Telephone And Turn On The Record Player, Momma."

The Rogan critics virtue signalers have their own garbage histories, lest you forget

Falsetto singing geriatric virtue signaler, Neil Young along with someone named Joni Mitchell, have left Spotify because Joe Rogan has guests on his Spotify program with whom they disagree and claim they spread "misinformation."

The real reason they left is their need for relevance at a time when people under 40 may have not even heard of them. Others have followed in their footsteps.

Young said that if Joe Rogan is on Spotify, then he is leaving the platform. This caused no less than ten people to feel distressed. Mitchell, who is best known for a song, one can imagine, is also using this opportunity to get her name out there and maybe sell a few vinyl albums, if they still exist.

Spotify has been under fire for not censoring "The Joe Rogan Experience," which has been accused by critics of spreading COVID "misinformation," according to people who have already done just that and have changed their information to a newer version of misinformation. But since they are on the Left, no harm, no foul.

Young gave Spotify an ultimatum to either choose him or Rogan, like a child who threatens to take his ball home if the other kids don't change the call. But Spotify has struck a $100,000,000 deal with Rogan so they basically flipped the old folks off. [Not that the First Amendment means anything, of course.]

The stance of the 76-year-old falsetto singer inspired others, with better voices, to follow suit, including the 78-year-old Mitchell, who never speaks about the time she wore blackface.

Yes, both Young and Mitchell have their own history of controversy, as do many others on the Left.

Ted Danson

During the height of the AIDS epidemic, Neil Young went after the gay community with a Fauci-sounding claim that anyone can contract AIDS just going to the grocery store. He also made a homophobic slur, possibly to take the onus from himself as he sounds like a woman when he sings.

"You go to a supermarket and you see a f--got behind the f--kin’ cash register, you don’t want him to handle your potatoes," Young said in a 1985 interview with Melody Maker.

And then there's phony Joni Mitchell wearing blackface at a 1976 Halloween party. She went dressed as a "pimp-like character" and described as a  "svelte black man in a zoot suit with matching chapeau, meticulous afro, wide moustache and big, dark shades."

Mitchell said she was dressing as her alter ego "Art Nouveau." This had been an ongoing character for the singer. "Nouveau" was on the cover of her 1977 album "Don Juan's Reckless Daughter."

Tom Hanks

The left loves to virtue signal but it's unearned virtue.

"I was walking down Hollywood Boulevard (when) a [B]lack guy walked by me with a diddy-bop kind of step, and said in the most wonderful way, 'Lookin' good, sister, lookin' gooood'," Mitchell explained the inspiration for the costume in a 1988 interview with Q Magazine. "His spirit was infectious, and I thought, I'll go as him. I bought the make-up, the wig… sleazy hat and a sleazy suit and that night I went to a Halloween party and nobody knew it was me."

In an interview with New York Magazine in 2015, Mitchell said "When I see [B]lack men sitting, I have a tendency to go – like I nod like I’m a brother… I really feel an affinity because I have experienced being a [B]lack guy on several occasions."

So she identifies as a Black man in a woman's White skin. I don't believe her.

Joni Mitchell made up as a pimp

If you're on the Left, you can get away with this crap. Look at Whoopi Goldberg who did not see Hitler's attempt to exterminate the Jews as a racial issue. Unlike Roseanne Barr, who also made a racist tweet about Barack Obama. Goldberg [not her real name--she appropriated it] got a 2-week suspension while Barr was fired and suffered greatly afterward.

Kylie Jenner

So Neil Young can sing in falsetto "Rocker in the Free World," but it's just a song and he doesn't believe in the words, only the money the words made.
