TN General Assembly passes bill prohibiting hosting drag shows in public places where kids may be

The Tennessee General Assembly passed a bill 74 - 19 that would make it illegal for drag shows to be hosted in public venues or in any places where minors might be present.

The bill makes it illegal to host “an adult cabaret performance” where children may be present. Cabaret performances are defined as those featuring “topless dancers, go-go dancers, exotic dancers, strippers, [and] male or female impersonators who provide entertainment that appeals to a prurient interest.”

As the bill states, anyone hosting or performing in a drag show where children are present would be hit with a  class A misdemeanor, subject to a fine of up to $2,500 and up to one year in prison. Obviously, it would also include other lewd performances. Any additional violations would increase the charges to a class E felony which carries up to six years prison time and fines up to $3,000.

The Tennessee House passed the bill on Thursday along with HB1, which bans gender-reassignment surgery [aka genital mutilation] for minors. The bill specifically barred “hormone or puberty blockers” claiming to be aimed at helping “gender dysphoric” youth as opposed to waiting for their brains to mature to a point where they can make better life decisions.

Matt Walsh of The Daily Wire — whose investigative reporting in October 2022 revealed widespread abuses at Vanderbilt University’s transgender clinic, leading to a halt on all gender-reassignment surgeries for minors — applauded the decision. Walsh resides in Nashville and is best known for his documentary "What is a Woman?"

“The Tennessee legislature has now passed the bill banning child mutilation in the state. We’re fighting. We’re winning. And we aren’t even close to done,” Walsh tweeted.

Of course it should go without saying that LGBTQ groups condemned the legislation, making the illogical argument that it endangered young people. The Tennessee Equality Project is one such group that makes the argument that if children aren't allowed to "transition," i.e., have their genital mutilated or removed, those kids suffering from gender dysphoria would become suicidal. But if that was the case why didn't the suicide rate spike before it became popular to "transition" kids? So far, it hasn't changed.

“The House took life-saving healthcare options away from trans youth and their families and ignored the 1st Amendment by passing HB1 and HB9. Almost 300 organizations, congregations, businesses have spoken out against them. Governor Lee should veto them,” the group tweeted Thursday afternoon.

It sounds as if the Tennessee Equality Project confused 'life-saving' with 'life-altering.'

Meanwhile, both bills are headed to the desk of Tennessee governor Bill Lee, who is expected to sign them into law.

To date, 15 states have also introduced legislation that doesn't allow drag shows in public venues. This will have an effect on restaurants, bars and public libraries that feature "drag queen story hours."

It's beginning to sound like the ship is turning around to the right, and that's a good thing as I see it.

Drag Queen Story Time in Oregon draws armed protesters

Eugene, OR -- A disturbance outside of Old Nick's Pub began as a scheduled "drag queen story hour" was to take place in order to groom children. The pub, named after one of Satan's monikers, serves alcohol and is normally out of bounds for children but we have a brain addled geriatric in the White House and anything goes, as they say.

The plan for the "entertainment" venue was to include a performance of an eleven-year-old child in drag whose parents pimped him out for the night. The event was announced on a local news station and social media which prompted an organized protest against the sexualization of children in this satanic manner.

This spurred a separate group of child abusers and perverts to form their own counter-protest in support of the age-inappropriate activity. So this led up to a confrontation that quickly escalated with some protesters armed, others hurling rocks and smoke bombs at each other from opposite sides of the street.

But the "show" must go on and it did as scheduled, however the eleven-year-old child was removed from the venue and sat in the audience of about 50 people. In all, there were about 200 protesters and counter-protesters [aka: grooming supporters] outside the bar where the drag queen story time was held.

Due to the kerfuffle, the street had to be shut down. Some in the crowd had semi-automatic rifle, the cops said, and you know which side of the protest they supported.

One person suffered an unspecified injury and was taken to a local hospital, but no other physical violence was reported. The protesters opposed to the show described the show participants as monsters and asked why this was being done to children. 

The counter-protesters, or groomers, responded with chants claiming that “this is what protecting children looks like.” Of course this is yet another example of how the Left's claims are the exact opposite of reality. [Take the Inflation Reduction Act, for example.] Protecting children is allowing them to be children, not exposing them to confusing displays of men dressed as caricatures of sexualized women.

Call me old fashioned, but I see this as the Left's attempt at tearing down everything the West has accomplished and stood for, and often their attempt to virtue signal superiority.

Pelosi is honored to appear with cross-dressers at Drag Queen Show

House Speaker Nancy "Hands-a-Flying" Pelosi (D-CA) pandered to cross-dressers and the woke who look up to them calling it "an honor" to appear on the latest episode of the drag queen show known as "RuPaul's Drag Race." It's a show in which men dress up as their cartoon version of what a woman is in an attempt to make the public think it's "cool" and "normal." In fact, they believe that young boys should follow their example and dress in drag too.

This show comes after previous dressing competition winners competed in a "tournament of champions," on May 20. Not surprisingly, many in the audience thought that Pelosi was a contestant until they recognized her when her hands got out of control.

“It was an honor to make an appearance on episode 5 of @RuPaulsDragRace All Stars 7 this week,” Pelosi, 82, said in that feminine way she has. “I was inspired by the contestants because they know their power. Their freedom of expression is what America is all about.”

She was so inspired by the contestants and their power that she dressed as a woman and told contestants that she was proud of them for some reason. She said they bring "joy and beauty" to the world [in spite of their gender confusion].

“Your freedom of expression of yourselves in drag is what America is all about,” the House speaker added. “I say that all the time to my friends in drag,” she said, referring to several House members who shall go unnamed. 

But then the favorite topic of the Left came up when Pelosi joked about her "shady sarcastic" disrespectful hand-clapping when the former President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, gave the nation's  2019 State of the Union Address. 

The House Speaker admitted she had a brain fart saying that "It was completely unintentional." Her hands just did their own thing and her face always looks like it did that day.

While Pelosi may say she's honored to appear on the "RuPaul's Drag Race," many parents are angry over drag-themed events, such as "Drag Queen Story Hour" being performed at public libraries, that target their children. Some political figures, particularly those in the GOP, agree that men dressed as sexualized cartoonish-looking women, shouldn't have children sitting in their lap while reading to them.

But Pelosi and her Party seem okay with the grooming of children, so long as it gets her and the Democrats votes. Hopefully this will change this November.

The wasn’t Pelosi’s first rodeo with drag queens. 

She was also on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2018. “This idea of people believing in themselves, being themselves, taking pride in themselves, is not just a lesson for politicians but for everyone in the country. And that’s why I was so excited and couldn’t resist being on the show,” Pelosi told The Hollywood Reporter after her first appearance.

If people believed in themselves they wouldn't have to flaunt it and seek the approval of the rest of us. And what does believing in oneself really mean? 

The House speaker, attempting to sound like AOC, also tweeted about her cameo on the show in 2018, writing, “All I can say is, you betta werk! Had a fabulous time with @RuPaul and good luck to all the queens.”

At the time of Pelosi's 2018 appearance, then-President Trump tried to prevent gender dysphoric people from serving in the military and this was her way of trying to weaken our fighting forces. The policy went into effect under Trump but was overturned by Joe Biden, or at least by his handler behind the curtain.
