This judge should be removed from the bench.
Crosby, still spitting fire after the trial, wasn't shocked by the slap-on-the-wrist ruling. "Baltimore City is criminal-friendly. It's not victim-friendly at all, especially if you’re a senior," he told The Daily Wire outside the Elijah Cummings courthouse. "Judges do not like pro-lifers. They don't like us saving babies, I don't know why."

Mr. Crosby has a point; this city's courts seem to have a soft spot for scumcrumpets.
Crosby, a devout Catholic who wore his crucifix like a badge of honor during sentencing, called the day of the attack "the most glorious" of his life. He said he was proud to bleed and suffer for Jesus. That's the kind of steel you don't see every day, except, perhaps from guys named "Big Balls."

The attack left him with a fractured bone in his face, blindness in one eye, photophobia that forces him to shield his eye on sunny days, two busted fingers, and bruises all over his arms and legs. He brought photos of his bloodied face to court, along with the torn, stained shirt paramedics had to cut off him in shock trauma. That's not just evidence, that’s a testament to the savagery, and the judge should be ashamed of herself.
Brice got nailed in February on two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of reckless endangerment but skated on first-degree assault charges in both a jury trial and a later bench trial in May. Bryant's extremely lenient sentence lets him chill at home, free to pop out for work or doctor visits, with three years of probation to follow.

Oh, and he's banned from abortion clinics or pro-life spots, but maybe one day a progressive local politician will remove that ban.
Prosecutors pushed for a decade behind bars, begging the judge to send a "strong message of deterrence" against jumping people in broad daylight over their beliefs. After all, he really could have killed the 84-year-old Schaefer or Crosby.

Fat chance this garbage judge would see things that way even after Schaefer and Crosby laid their hearts bare in victim statements. Schaefer, unbowed, swore he'd be back at Planned Parenthood, no matter what. He also shut down any nonsense about provoking Brice, as the punk's lawyer tried to spin.
Terrell Roberts, Crosby's attorney, read his client’s statement, where Crosby demanded hard time for the "brutality of the attack," describing how Brice "kicked me in the face like a football player kicking a field goal." That isn't just assault, that’s a man trying to crush another's spirit. Brice, for his part, played the remorse card at trial, claiming he "snapped" over a supposed racial jab from Schaefer. "I was having a bad day," the elder-abuser whined, adding, "I really am sorry."

His lawyer insisted the attack wasn't "politically motivated" and cried about Brice losing jobs and a relationship. I suspect the woman who dumped him realized what a POS he is to attack two old men.
"Justice was not served in this case," Roberts told The Daily Wire, his voice dripping with frustration. "Sentencing, I thought, would end up right where it was because they were going to give them all the slack in the world." He blamed Judge Bryant’s shaky grasp of the law for letting Brice off the hook on first-degree assault.
The whole ugly scene was caught on surveillance video outside the downtown Baltimore Planned Parenthood. It shows Brice and Schaefer in a heated back-and-forth before Brice tackles the 84-year-old, knocking him into a potted plant, possibly a relative of Brice.

Crosby, watching from across the street, sprints over to help, only for Brice to shove him down, straddle him, and pound his face before delivering a vicious kick to the head. That's not a fight; that's a predator at work.
Schaefer and Crosby, undeterred, keep showing up at that same Planned Parenthood, pleading with women to choose life. The attack didn’t break them, it steeled them. Crosby's rightly convinced this was a hate crime, claiming Brice ripped the crucifix off his neck and chucked it into the bushes. Brice, of course, swears he has no beef with Christians, maybe just crucifixes and Jesus.
Brice kept his mouth shut to reporters after sentencing but hinted he'd reach out later. Don't hold your breath.

Meanwhile, two old lions, battered but unbowed, keep fighting for what they believe in, while Baltimore's justice system plays patty-cake with their attacker. That's the real crime here.
Do you agree the judge needs to go? Feel free to comment.
