The attack left him with a fractured bone in his face, blindness in one eye, photophobia that forces him to shield his eye on sunny days, two busted fingers, and bruises all over his arms and legs. He brought photos of his bloodied face to court, along with the torn, stained shirt paramedics had to cut off him in shock trauma. That's not just evidence, that’s a testament to the savagery, and the judge should be ashamed of herself.
Brice got nailed in February on two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of reckless endangerment but skated on first-degree assault charges in both a jury trial and a later bench trial in May. Bryant's extremely lenient sentence lets him chill at home, free to pop out for work or doctor visits, with three years of probation to follow.

Fat chance this garbage judge would see things that way even after Schaefer and Crosby laid their hearts bare in victim statements. Schaefer, unbowed, swore he'd be back at Planned Parenthood, no matter what. He also shut down any nonsense about provoking Brice, as the punk's lawyer tried to spin.

That isn't just assault, that’s a man trying to crush another's spirit. Brice, for his part, played the remorse card at trial, claiming he "snapped" over a supposed racial jab from Schaefer. "I was having a bad day," the elder-abuser whined, adding, "I really am sorry."
