Dem. lawmaker demands group that hosted Rashida Tlaib, another Dem., be investigated

She must have dyed her mustache

Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) has had enough of the Palestinian American Community Center's (PACC) shenanigans and is calling for a federal investigation faster than you can say "anti-terrorism laws." In a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi on Sunday, Gottheimer demanded a closer look at PACC's sketchy financial ties and their brilliant idea to roll out the red carpet for a member of a terrorist group.

I mean, who doesn't love a good "oops, we invited a terrorist" moment?

Apparently, PACC thought it was a wonderful idea to feature Wisam Rafeedie, a card-carrying member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), at their annual conference last week, cleverly titled “Grounded in Action: Exploring the Power of the Palestinian Diaspora.”

Rafeedie, who clearly has a soft spot for terrorism and a knack for anti-Semitic rants, joined the party virtually on day four. Gottheimer wasn’t having it, slamming PACC for cozying up to someone with a “long history of supporting terrorism and engaging in anti-Semitic rhetoric.” You don’t say!

The congressman also tore into Rafeedie for defending Hamas’s bloody Oct. 7, 2023, bloody rampage across southern Israel, where they murdered 1,200 people and kidnapped 251 hostages, including babies.

Rafeedie, ever the charmer, brushed off the carnage as Israeli “lies” and downplayed documented atrocities like it was no big deal. Gottheimer called out PACC’s pathetic attempt to “obfuscate Rafeedie’s participation in the conference” by scrubbing their website of “promotional images” featuring the PFLP poster boy.

Smooth move, guys—nothing screams "innocent" like a digital cover-up.

And the plot thickens--Gottheimer pointed fingers at PACC for pocketing cash from American Muslims for Palestine, a group already under federal scrutiny for possibly playing footsie with terrorist organizations.

“I respectfully request that the US Department of Justice’s District of New Jersey investigate PACC for possible violations of United States law, including but not limited to violations or conspiracy to violate, Section 2339B of the Anti-Terrorism Act,” Gottheimer wrote, flexing his US House Intelligence Committee creds.

That’s right, folks—Section 2339B doesn’t mess around when it comes to “material support” for terrorists, or even thinking about it. You might say it's the 'Donald Trump of Anti-Terrorism Acts.'

Meanwhile, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Israel’s biggest congressional cheerleader (sarcasm alert), jumped into the mix by headlining the event’s “Youth Day” earlier this month. She brought along her kid, Adam, for a wholesome reading and signing of her new children’s book, Mama in Congress.

Nothing says “family fun” like rubbing elbows with a terror-sympathizing crowd.

Tlaib’s no stranger to this scene—last May, she got flak for attending “The People’s Conference for Palestine,” where Rafeedie also popped up, praising Hamas as “resistance” and claiming “Zionists lie like they breathe.” That's known as projection in psychological terms.

Rafeedie didn’t stop there. He doubled down, calling Hamas a noble part of the Palestinian “resistance” against “settler colonialism and ethnic cleansing,” while pushing for Israel’s total wipeout and replacement with a “democratic” Palestine.

Sure, buddy, that sounds like a real picnic. So here we are: Gottheimer’s sounding the alarm, Tlaib’s playing her usual tune, and PACC’s caught in the middle, trying to pretend they didn’t just host a terrorist fan club meeting. Grab the popcorn—this one’s gonna get messy!
