Another Russian general is killed in Ukraine

Another Russian military leader, Major General Dmitry Ulyanov-- the very model of a modern major general--came out of retirement to assist Putin in the Ukraine invasion, and got himself killed in Kyiv by a sabotage team.

Ulyanov, 44, returned to service as a commander in Russia's invasion but things didn't work out so well for him as he was killed in a firefight in an attack by a Ukrainian sabotage group this week, a report said.

Ulyanov had been a paratrooper and commander of the 98th Guards Airborne Division [aka Fighting Borscht Battalion]. However, in Ukraine, he commanded a regiment of mobilized infantrymen from Tatarstan, the home of Islamic tartar sauce, which didn't work out so well for him.

Ulyanov is the first such high ranked commander to be killed for many months, but the way things appear to be going, it's highly probable that he will not be the last high ranking officer to be killed. Of course, the same is true for the Ukrainians, because that's what happens in war.
So to date, Putin has already lost least ten such senior commanders, which is a high number of military brain power to be neutralized.

Reports last year named the following top brass killed in the war: Lt-Gen Yakov Rezantsev, 48, Maj-Gen Andrei Kolesnikov, 45, Maj-Gen Andrey Sukhovetsky, , Maj-Gen Vitaly Gerasimov, 44, Maj-Gen Vladimir Frolov, 54, Maj-Gen Andrei Simonov, 55, Maj-Gen Oleg Mityaev, 48, Maj-Gen Kanamat Botashev, 63, and Maj-Gen Roman Kutuzov, 53.

So maybe it's time for Putin to rethink his illegal invasion of Ukraine and come to some kind of peace terms with them because war is unhealthy to humans, animals and the planet.
