Fox News journalist Benjamin Hall has been injured in Ukraine covering the Russian invasion. His condition, that is, the extent of his injuries, is currently unknown. The attack reportedly took place in a non-military area, but the Russians apparently are not differentiating between military areas and civilian areas.
The attack took place just prior to 2 p.m. Eastern time.
'Ben is hospitalized and our teams on the ground are working to gather additional information as the situation quickly unfolds,' Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement.

Other journalists from Fox News remain in Ukraine to report on the war.
"The safety of our entire team of journalists in Ukraine and the surrounding regions is our top priority and of the utmost importance," Scott continued. "This is a stark reminder for all journalists who are putting their lives on the line every day to deliver the news from a war zone."

"We will update everyone as we know more," Scott said. "Please keep Ben and his family in your prayers."

Fox News host John Roberts broke the news. “A Fox News journalist has been injured while news-gathering outside of Kyiv. Very few details, but teams on the ground are working as hard as they can to try to gather more information,” he said. “A reminder, of course, this is in a war zone, that information changes very quickly and we are working as hard as possible to get the best information we that we possibly can and get all the details on what has happened.”
Roberts was clearly emotional and it could be heard in his voice.

Following a commercial break, co-anchor Sandra Smith returned with Roberts and told viewers, “We’re all praying for Ben.” And Roberts noted, “we don't know the extent of his injuries yet, but we are all praying for him and for his family that he comes back to us.”
The injuries appear to be damage to both his legs, but this is all the information the network could provide.
