Taliban assassinates Afghan pilots and capture key Afghanistan-Iran border crossing

PINO Joe Biden has never been right about any decision he has made on foreign affairs and has maintained his record of incompetence once again as the US pulls out of Afghanistan.

Since abandoning the people of Afghanistan the Taliban is filling the vacuum we are leaving behind, as predicted. They have captured a major border crossing between Afghanistan and Iran, Afghan officials report.

The Islam Qala crossing is one of the largest trade gateways into Iran, generating an estimated $20 million monthly revenue for the government.

But Joe Biden doesn't think it's likely the Taliban will take over the country, because Joe Biden no longer knows what he's saying and when he did in the past, he was wrong.

Biden read his Teleprompter as best he could, and defended the speed of the withdrawal, claiming the U.S. could no longer sustain the human cost of a conflict, which is extremely low--in the single digits--compared to the shooting deaths in U.S. major Democrat-run cities. He said our presence there cannot change Afghanistan's course, proving once again that Biden is operating on one brain cell above flatlining. Our long-standing presence in Germany, South Korea and Japan, for example, shows how we have changed the course of these countries.

Earlier in the week our troops abandoned Bagram airbase, a huge complex that was the hub of US operations in Afghanistan and had held tens of thousands of troops in the past.

While the Taliban claims to control 85 percent of Afghanistan at this time, we estimate that they currently control over a third of the country's 400 districts, one of which is a territory from the Iranian border to the frontier with China on the other side of the country.

Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban, said the crossing was "under our full control".

Biden, like his son Hunter, is shameless in how he is leaving the Afghans in a lurch while he lies about the country's ability to stop the Taliban,

There are reports that Taliban jihadis seized five districts in Herat without any resistance and earlier in the week over a thousand Afghan security forces fled to Tajikistan when the Taliban advanced toward their position.

Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Moscow is urging all sides to "show restraint," but that's like trying to convince the Ayatollah to convert to Judaism.

According to an assessment provided to officials last month, some US intelligence analysts fear the Taliban could seize control of the country within six months as Biden's words are not magic. In fact, they're often incoherent.

But Afghan President Ashraf Ghani insists that Afghan security forces are capable of keeping the Taliban at bay, and Afghan forces appear to have retaken lost ground in some areas, but it's too soon to tell.

Meanwhile in Kabul, Air Force Major Dastagir Zamaray, 41, had grown so fearful of Taliban assassinations of off-duty forces in Kabul that he decided to sell his home to move to a safer place in the country's sprawling capital.

When he got to the real estate office, he was confronted by a gunman who walked inside, shot the real estate agent in the mouth and then shot Zamaray before he could pull his sidearm out. His 14-year-old son was with him when he died, but the boy was spared.

No less than seven Afghan pilots have been assassinated off base in recent months.

And once we're gone completely, it will only get worse.
