Nancy "Dancing Hands" Pelosi on impeachment: "I don't think he's worth the trouble at this point"

It has been a year since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) first announced an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. Like her denture adhesive, it failed.

However, the aged Speaker recently said that if the President goes ahead with his sworn duty to uphold the U.S. Constitution and nominate a Supreme Court Justice to the bench, she will move to impeach him for doing his job.

Now Pelosi says that she is not considering a new impeachment round as a way of delaying the SCOTUS confirmation vote, and it's a good thing she changed her mind now that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) basically warned that if she tried that crap, he would do his best to have her removed as Speaker.

“I don’t think he’s worth the trouble at this point,” Pelosi and her sliding dentures told reporters Thursday.

Democrats are angry that Republicans have vowed to move ahead pedal to the metal to fill the vacancy resulting from the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a staunch leftist jurist who supported the pro-death policies on abortion.

For his part, President Trump is planning to put on a show on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. to announce his pick for the seat and Senate Republicans have pledged to move forward to vote on the pick before the election. All the Senate needs is a regular majority, or at minimum, 50 votes with VP Mike Pence breaking the tie.

Thank you Harry Reid for the nuclear option that has backfired on you and your party since the GOP took the Senate.

Pelosi and her hands were interviewed on ABC News' "This Week" and was asked if she and the House Democrats would move to impeach Trump or Attorney General Bill Barr for doing his job, as a way to prevent the Senate from doing their job.

“We have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now, but the fact is we have a big challenge in our country,” Pelosi said. “This president has threatened to not even accept the results of the election.”

She added: “Our main goal would be to protect the integrity of the election as we protect the people from the coronavirus.”

Pelosi was pressed again on whether she would employ impeachment tactics, to which she said the Constitution requires that Congress “use every arrow in our quiver.”

“We have a responsibility,” Pelosi said. “We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. We have a responsibility to meet the needs of the American people.”

She added: “When we weigh the equities of protecting our democracy, it requires us to use every arrow in our quiver.”

The White House responded to Pelosi's prattle, as a "bizarre and dangerous" power grab.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy laid it out for her to reporters on Wednesday saying, “I will make you this one promise, listening to the speaker on television this weekend, if she tries to move for an impeachment based upon the president following the Constitution, I think there will be a move on the floor to no longer have the question of her being speaker. She may think she has a quiver – we do too,”

He added: “The president is supposed to move forward and they will. The Senate is supposed to take the action and they will – it's their constitutional right and they are following through."

If Pelosi and House Democrats try to impeach the president, "we will take the movement to remove her from [the] speakership,” McCarthy said.

Pelosi blinked.
