BAHDAHBING! Hezbollah arms depot blows up in Lebanon

Beirut -- Hezbollah, an Iran-backed Shi'ite Muslim terror group used to have an arms depot in the southern part of Lebanon. But on Tuesday, it exploded in a glorious flash and bang that injured several people. [H/T Reuters]

The security source told Reuters the arms depot blast, which sent a huge column of black smoke into the sky, was caused by a “technical error," aka: total screwup.

The blast shook Ain Qana in south Lebanon, which is a political stronghold of heavily armed group whose sport is fighting the Jews in Israel.

This recent blast has further shaken the country after its worse crisis since the 1975-1990 civil war and since the enormous Beirut port explosion that killed 190 people in the capital on August 4th of this year.

Since the port blast, subsequent fires in the area and elsewhere around Beirut have broken out and caused panic there and across the country. Also, the country's economy is in a tailspin while those in political power have not yet come to terms with how they plan to form a new government, while trying to convince the Western World that things are honky-dory.

After the Beirut explosion, the government resigned rather than being mobbed, stoned and ultimately beheaded--it was a no-brainer.

Forming the new cabinet has hit a brick wall as Hezbollah and its main Shi’ite ally have demanded they name the finance and some other ministers.

Another security source told Reuters that Hezbollah had set up a security cordon around the recent blast site, about 30 miles south of Beirut, but the press were not allowed to approach the area due to whatever it is they have to hide.

Hezbollah had nothing to say publicly about the blast and their television channel, (which in this case is not associated with Al Gore's Al Jazeera) claimed in a newscast that the cause of the blast was not clear.

Security sources said there were several injuries without giving figures, so the number would probably range from 2 to 2,564. You never know the truth with Hezbollah.

A witness near the village said he felt the ground shake, rattle and he rolled on out of there as quickly as he could.

Video from the Al-Jadeed broadcast showed men walking around the scorched area littered with debris and damage to a house nearby showed the floor covered in glass and what appeared to be spilled ketchup or some other similar substance in a pool.

At least one fire was still burning in the location, the footage showed and people spoke in a foreign language.
