The Wild, Wild East: 49 Shot in 3 days NY City

It appears that the incredibly strict gun control laws in New York City are not being taken seriously by criminals. Who would have thought that when the laws were put in place? 

Forty-nine people were shot between Thursday and Saturday in the Democratic-run city because criminals simply refuse to abide by the laws. Maybe if the shooters had bread, this would have never happened. 

Maybe if the police were allowed to use stop and frisk and the "broken windows" anti-crime tactics this wouldn't have happened, at least not to this degree. Maybe if the city didn't allow criminals out of jail without bail, there would be fewer scumbags out on the street shooting the place up like a Spaghetti Western.

The number of people shot over the three days is FIVE TIMES more than last year's victims over the same time period. At least six people were killed by gunshot wounds over the 72 hours, compared to three killed last year. Altogether there have been 1.087 shooting victims so far this year in 888 shooting incidents throughout the Big Apple. Last year at this time, there had been 577 shooting victims in 488 incidents in New York City.

The solution to the violence is not even stricter anti-gun laws. It's a lot more complicated than Democrats seem capable to understand. 

Two-parent households is a good start. Having a good father in the home would make a huge difference to how kids behave. It isn't the only solution, but it's a good start.
