NoKo readying for another missile test?

North Korea may be going for another shot at taking a shot at Trump with a possible missile test. Activity at Punggye-ri is apparently going at full tilt according to satellite imagery.

Experts detected tremors after the rogue nation's last missile test and minor tremors were detected near Mount Mantap, located near the nuclear site. But Pyongyang is doing more tunnel work at the site and this may be the cause of the tremors.

Experts at 38North, a US-based think tank, detected the newest activity at the West Portal of the site. They believe the site may be undergoing expansion. But the North Portal, where previous testing was conducted, appears to be temporarily abandoned.

The 38North experts blogged: "At the West Portal, there has been a consistently high level of activity since North Korea's last nuclear test. This includes a routine presence of vehicles and personnel around the portal, movement of mining carts from the portal to the adjacent spoil pile and signs of fresh spoil being dumped onto the pile. These activities suggest that tunnel excavation is underway at the West Portal, as the North Koreans expand the site's potential for future nuclear testing."

"The tunneling is occurring at the West Portal and activity near the area has been relatively high for the last month. They are most likely digging deeper and expanding the complex underneath so they can continue their normal operations," said Ryan Barenklau, the CEO and founder of Strategic Sentinel, a nonpartisan geostrategic consulting agency based in Washington.

"The complex is probably unstable seeing how many tremors have been recording, forcing new tunnels to be created."

Barenklau believes it will be a while before the North Korea conducts its next nuclear test.

The one thing we know for certain is that we don't know anything that the North Koreans will do, with certainty.
