Alberta Padilla, a teacher at Claudia Taylor "Lady Bird" Johnson High School in North East Independent School District. The statutory rapes began in June 2016, when the boy was 16-years-old and Padilla was 51, and lasted until August 20, 2017.
Padilla admitted to having sex with the child after she allowed him to stay at her home and gave him clothing and food. She said they developed feelings for one another over time, but based upon her photo, the boy was likely getting extra credit for the affair.
She confessed that she and the boy had sex about 15 to 20 times over the course of a year--and they even did it in a public park, under the stars, next to the pigeons.
According to authorities, the relationship was discovered after Padilla's daughters taped a conversation they had with the boy, who cautioned them not to go to the cops. The boy also reportedly told the girls that he loved Padilla even more than he loved his video games.
Police said the kid confessed he and the adult had sex.
Padilla was booked into the Bexar County Jail and held on $20,000 bond, according to KTSA.
Aubrey Chancellor, a spokesperson and not the chancellor for the school district said they were trying to determine whether or not to terminate Padilla. She has been placed on leave.
Planned Parenthood had no comment.
