Developing: Georgia man who shot 2 cops in standoff at an apartment

College Park, Georgia -- Kendarrious Chester, a suspect in a shooting in which two officers were wounded in a restaurant shootout is currently in a standoff in an apartment building in Clayton County.

Police have the apartment surrounded as this is being written.

The shooting occurred at Red Snapper, according to law enforcement officials. One officer was shot twice, once in the abdomen and once in his ballistic vest. The second officer's radio was struck by a round.

Both officers are expected to recover, but the radio is shot.

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office issued an alert to find Mr. Chester, who they believe was involved in the shooting and is described as a light-skin black male (we believe that is how he currently identifies) with dreadlocks. He was wearing a soiled white shirt and black shorts with white stars. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches and weighs about 150 pounds.

Police are being extra cautious in his pursuit as Black Lives Matter may be watching.
