At least 20 Shi'ite Muslims were killed and 50 wounded in Baghdad Thursday. The attack took place at a Shi'ite Muslim mausoleum north of the city.
The attack started with a suicide car bomb which detonated at the gate of the Mausoleum of Sayid Mohammed bin Ali al-Hadi in the town of Balad.
Following that explosion, the gunman stormed the site and started shooting at pilgrims visiting for the Eid al-Fitr festival, which marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, now being called "The Festival of Boom."
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, but investigators are not looking into the possibility that Mormons or Amish may be behind it. The real likelihood based upon the MO of the attacker that it was ISIS inspired or directed.
