Obama at High Noon

America's greatest ally for the last hundred years, the country that stood behind us in Iraq, has just voted in Parliament to let the United States go it alone in Syria. England just finished the vote and they refuse to attack Syria--shot across the bow, or not.

And if Obama has no intention of changing the regime, what is the point of attacking Syria anyway? As I said in my previous post, it serves no practical purpose and will only speed up Iran's nuclear program.

Obama is shooting from the hip--he has no idea what the hell he's doing. None. He showed that when he first opened his mouth, he's showing it now that he's threatening to attack without congressional oversight. Now he isn't even getting British Prime Minister Cameron's support and that of his Parliament. He isn't even certain without a doubt that it is actually the regime that used the chemical weapons. Yes, Obama has called John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, both Republican leaders representing the House and Senate respectively, but it seems likely that he's only doing it for show; he doesn't plan to take it to a congressional vote.

Obama has no idea what he's doing because he has allowed information to be leaked about a possible attack. He has given President Assad a gift by doing that and allowing him to prepare for an attack. His administration has a history of giving away the farm to the enemy--think of what he did to SEAL Team Six after he bragged how he killed bin Laden. Most of the team were killed because of leaked information from him and his cronies.

The next day or so will better define what Obama's plan is with Syria. I doubt that Bashir is worried about getting bashed. I doubt that if we start something with Syria, that they will sit on their haunches and do nothing about it. I believe even Iran will become a player in this debacle because of Obama's misuse and abuse of power.
