Biden's attempt at looking fit didn't work

A report from The New York Times demonstrates how alleged President Joe Biden tried to prove he's still full of energy, despite critics who have functioning eyes and ears and know better.

In the article, reporters talked to people close to the so called President who said he wanted to show off his physical strength and his ability to beat men and women at pushups to counter the talk about his age.

"But at times, people familiar with his thinking recalled, Mr. Biden’s pride — along with an old-school view that displaying physical vitality was the antidote to age concerns — could get in the way," the report said on Friday.

The former newspaper pointed out that Biden's longtime strategist, Mike Donlon, told him in 2022, "Your biggest issue is the perception of age." Biden "acknowledged the concerns," but the "warnings only ignited his defiant, competitive streak," according to the tabloid. This attitude might have pushed him to run for office again in 2023, even after he had hinted he wouldn't.

"Finally elected on his third try, Mr. Biden suggested that he would be a transition president," the article noted. "But his pride, plus a string of legislative accomplishments and a strong showing in the 2022 midterms, drove him to seek re-election and set out on a quixotic mission to prove his vitality."

Yes, Old Joe was jousting at the windmills of his mind thinking he had the ability to run a country when he couldn't run a lemonade stand.

His pride also led him to demonstrate his physical capabilities. The report explained, "Mr. Biden, who exercised on a stationary bike most days, made decisions that he thought would showcase vigor. But, at times, they had the unintended effect of showcasing his advancing years."

To make matters worse, his wife, Doctor Jill, allowed him to run again when it was obvious to the world that he didn't have 'the right stuff'. In fact, Joe never did have the right stuff and was put in the position to run for President the first time because Obama made him his VP.

The article listed several incidents, including when Biden "refused to wear an orthopedic boot" after breaking his foot playing with his dog before his inauguration.

"He did not want to be seen as weak — a 78-year-old president with his hand on the Bible and a large, telltale contraption on his foot. He wore his leather brogues instead."

According to anonymous sources, who requested anonymity fearing serious reprisals for spilling the beans, the fracture "did not heal" properly because of this, leading to his "shuffling gait" throughout his presidency, and an addled mind that continues to get increasingly more addled.

The report discussed his bike riding clusterfrack in which he tried to appear fit rather than frail:

"Mr. Biden still wanted to prove that he was physically agile," the report read. "He enjoyed biking at his home near Rehoboth Beach, DE, but during the summer of 2022, when he stopped to talk with a group of onlookers and reporters, his feet got caught in the toe cages on the pedals." He went tush-over-teakettle and the conservative media had a field day with it when he tumbled to the ground. It went so viral that T-shirts were made of the event.

Then came what the report labeled the "worst mishap," when "Mr. Biden tripped over a sandbag at the Air Force Academy commencement."

"It took five seconds for Secret Service agents to help the president to his feet, an eternity when seen on television."

Not to mention how, when approaching microphones, he takes a 3-step 'jog' that simply looks silly.

Joe should have never run for President in the first place but his wife selfishly needed to be in the limelight and didn't care how it made Biden look.

In this writer's opinion, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. was the worst President this country has ever had the misfortune of electing. Tomorrow cannot come soon enough.
