Former CIA Chief Leon Panetta condemns Israel's pager attack against terrorist leaders: "terrorism"

Former CIA Director under Barack Obama, Leon Panetta on Sunday condemned Israel's brilliant trojan horse attack on Iran-supported Hezbollah's leadership via pagers and walkie talkies. Rather than seeing the ingenuity of the Jewish State and the fact that it's being attacked by Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria and whoever else can get a shot at them, "The Schnoz" goes after Israel, the one country that uses every means to limit collateral damage and civilian casualties. 

“I don’t think there’s any question that it’s a form of terrorism,” said Panetta, who increased drone strikes and other counterterrorism activities, particularly targeting leadership and organizations in Yemen, Pakistan and Somalia. He also served as Secretary of Defense under Obama.

While speaking to CBS News, Panetta expressed fear that terrorism is “going right into the supply chain.”

“And when you have terror going into the supply chain, it makes people ask the question: ‘What the hell is next?'” the political hack added.

The pagers and walkie talkies that exploded were the property of the heads of Hezbollah and compared to other countries, the USA included, have targeted a specific group of terrorists. Sadly, there will always be innocent lives lost in war, but while Hamas and Hezbollah aim for this, Israel does all it can to avoid it. 

The pager, walkie talkie event killed at least 37 terrorists and around 3,000 were wounded and taken out of commission in the jihad against Israel. Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani was one of the injured and based on his position, had no business with a Hezbollah device which cost him the loss of an eye.

Fighting terrorists, killing and wounding them is not terrorism, it's defensive preemptive action. While Israel has remained mute on the pager attack, it's highly likely it was Israel who caused the loss of life, testicles, and other body parts of terrorists who were in the throes of planning to attack Israel in the same way Hamas did on October 7, 2023. 

“This is a tactic that has repercussions. And we really don’t know what those repercussions are going to be,” Panetta said on Sunday. “The forces of war are largely in control right now.”

“I think it’s going to be very important for the nations of the world to have a serious discussion about whether or not this is an area that everybody has to focus on, because if they don’t try to deal with it now, mark my word, it is the battlefield of the future,” he added, obviously hating when Israel comes out on top.

“What an absolute doofus,” terrorism expert Max Abrahms added.

Panetta headed up the CIA because Barack Obama appointed him due to his help getting Democrats elected, not because he had experience in that area. He was also chief of staff for Clinton for similar reasons.

Leon Panetta is so incompetent at his job that in 2011 following the Bin Laden raid, he addressed a group of people at a CIA Headquarters event to honor those connected to the raid. At the event, the idiot disclosed "Secret" and "Top Secret" information regarding the brave souls who found Bin Laden and those who were on the ground to get him. Panetta unmasked the SEAL team and the ground commander while also revealing more Top Secret information during his speech with 1,300 people in attendance, many of whom had absolutely NO SECURITY CLEARANCE to be privy to that information.

Many of us are old enough to remember when in October 2020, Panetta and 50 other former senior intelligence officials signed the infamous letter stating that the Hunter Biden laptop controversy had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian disinformation operation" because it had damaging information to the Biden campaign. We all knew back then that the laptop being "Russian disinformation" was complete balerdash put forth by Democratic political hacks including Panetta.

Now, Panetta has once again decided to weigh in, this time on the “pager” attack on Hezbollah terrorists. He said on "CBS News Sunday Morning" that, “I don’t think there’s any question that it’s a form of terrorism,”

“This is going right into the supply chain,” he added. “And when you have terror going into the supply chain, it makes people ask the question: ‘What the hell is next?’”

Hezbollah has been Iran's main terrorist proxy and has significant political and military control over the people of Lebanon. The terrorist organization has been battering Israel with rocket, missile and drones barrages which began the day after Hamas savagely attacked Israel and slaughtered 1,200 people on October 7. Since this all began, over 60,000 Israelis in the north have been forced to flee their homes.

Leon Panetta is a fool and needs to leave the political scene. He doesn't know the difference of terrorism from counterterrorism.
