There is no question as to which side has moral clarity

At Shura Army Base in Israel, on the outskirts of the central Israeli city of Ramle, the bodies and hacked-off body parts are stacked up and continue to pile higher this week, as the slaughtered from southern Israel keep arriving in refrigerator trucks. Many, if not most of the bodies are hard to identify on sight as they have been burned or otherwise disfigured or dismembered.

Thankfully, DNA helps the process, but it's time consuming and the Jewish dead are supposed to be buried within a day whenever possible.

Israeli Defense Force personnel and volunteers along with religious authorities officiate the delicate process. In many respects, what they see is worse than ISIS and is reminiscent of the Holocaust, which for the Jews, whose country grew out of the atrocities of Nazi Germany, is a very strong statement.

Col. Rabbi Haim Weisberg, head of IDF's rabbinic division, spoke at an interview: "During a war, each side tries to make a convincing argument that they are right but these kinds of atrocities we have not seen since the days of the Nazis."

"They went from house to house burning family after family," he said. "We are seeing trucks still arriving filled with body bags that contain whole families – grandparents, mothers, fathers, and even little children are being brought down from the trucks."

"In normal times, the rabbis on this base deal with dead soldiers, but this time it is abnormal," said Weisberg of the base that is just one among several involved in the identification process.

"Here we have identified hundreds of bodies and there are still many more waiting to be examined," he said.

Perhaps the most barbaric public display by Hamas was that of Shani Louk, a young Israeli-German woman who was at the desert music festival and whose body was paraded in a truck through Gaza as the Hamassholes surrounding her shouted "Allahu akbar" or "Allah is greater."

Hamas had her family believe she was still alive in Gaza somewhere and was suffering from a "severe head injury."

It turns out that this 'head injury' was a Hamas joke, as her skull was eventually discovered in Gaza by the IDF. It is believed she was tortured and beheaded.

One of the female volunteers spoke about the burial procedures.

"They wanted to have women who could deal with the burial and the identification procedure so that it wouldn't fall on young male soldiers and in order to protect the privacy of young women," she said, but who could not be named due to military guidelines.

She explained that the group was specially trained by the army for a mass casualty event, but it was not until Oct. 7 that they were called up for service. Since then, she said, the unit has been working around the clock.

"I’ve seen things that no one should ever see," she said, describing how many of the dead women arrived still wearing their pajamas, their heads blown off and some booby-trapped with grenades.

"We saw evidence of rape," she added. "Pelvises were broken, and it probably takes a lot to break a pelvis… and this was also among grandmothers down to small children. These are things we saw with our own eyes."

Anyone who stands with this evil group of human excrement is either clueless, evil, or a member of the Squad; but I repeat myself.
