Anti-Semite of the Year and Beyond |
Rep[ulsive] Ilhan Omar (D-MN) tweeted a photo of dead babies and attempted to blame Israel for their deaths labeling it "CHILD GENOCIDE IN PALESTINE" but she got caught in her lie.
The photo [which will not be shown here] depicts seven dead children wrapped in white. Omar claimed they were part of the "614 Palestinian children murdered by the Israeli [IDF] forces." Failing to note that Hamas killed babies, mutilated them and their parents, and that Israel is the one nation that goes beyond all others to minimize civilian casualties by using such techniques as 'knock bombs' to warn them to evacuate buildings, for example, Omar tried to paint Israel as cruel.
Omar failed to note that when the charred Israeli bodies of children and their parents were found, many were hugging each other in death. She even failed to mention how Hamas attacked kibbutzim, killing entire families along with toddlers and babies. And she never mentioned that Hamas took hostages, including very young kids.
But worse, the photo she showed was a lie.
It turns out that the photo was from a 2013 sarin gas attack in Ghouta, Syria.
Omar has since un-retweeted the photo after criticism.
Of course Gazan children have been killed. If Hamas didn't use them as human shields and propaganda they probably would have lived because Israel warns civilians to "get out of Dodge" before they strike back.
The first thing to die in war is Truth.
