Is Rob Reiner a 'useful idiot' or just an idiot for praising Biden as 'honest and law abiding'?

Former actor in the role of Michael "Meathead" Stivic, Rob Reiner is being bombarded on Twitter with criticism for calling alleged President Joe Biden a "decent law abiding person" while attacking former President Donald Trump. 

"The difference between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is: Joe Biden is a decent law abiding person, and Donald Trump is a pathologically lying criminal," Reiner tweeted Sunday.

Reiner has criticized Trump since the day he came down the escalator to announce his run for President, calling him "mentally unstable" and even accused him of being a traitor, which is punishable by death. He did this in a tweet in December 2018 saying Trump was "aiding and abetting the enemy."

And while Reiner is okay with killing the unborn right up to the last moment before passing through the birth canal of the mother, he equated a vote for Trump was a "vote for death" in the 2020 election, due to the COVID-19 deaths during the height of the pandemic. 

Meathead never blamed Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Deborah Birx, or even Gov. Andrew Cuomo for any of the death toll, but only blamed Trump because he hates him.

But Meathead's latest criticism of Trump comes at a time when Biden has clearly mishandled classified documents both at his home [in his "locked" garage] and at the Penn Biden Center, and he is catching flak for the obvious double standard. 

Referring to Joe Biden as "honest" is a joke without the need of a punchline. Every time he speaks at length, at least one lie emerges. 

Most recently he spoke at the Ebenezer Baptist Church and repeated the lie he once admitted to being a lie, that he took part in the civil rights protests in the sixties and attended a black church after going to his church in the morning. 

Biden has claimed to be Jewish, Puerto Rican, a truck driver, a top law school graduate, to having visited Nelson Mandela in prison, to knowing someone named Corn Pop. His lies are all over the place.

Regarding Reiner on Twitter,  former Illinois congressional candidate Jack Lombardi II posted:

There is no amount of propaganda you can spew on Twitter that convinces Americans that Joe Biden is an honest person.

As of now, you're quite literally the poster boy for cognitive dissonance…

In a separate tweet, Lombardi called Reiner's post as a "propaganda tweet."

TV personality Mindy Robinson wrote:

Yea? That’s why the FBI tried to keep Hunter’s laptop covered up for years until a concerned citizen exposed it? Because of all of Trump’s crimes selling political favors to foreign countries to the detriment of ours that was on it?

Washington Examiner commentator Christopher Tremoglie chimed in with:

"Imagine being so brainwashed that you don’t think Biden is a pathological liar…."

Seriously, can anybody take Reiner seriously?

Some people went so far as labeling Reiner "irrelevant" and a "troll." 

We have to wonder if he believes what he's saying or if he is, in fact, just trolling us. I'd rather like to think he's just stupid, rather than malicious.
