MI Gov. Whitmer will fight to keep abortion legal "for your kids" who you did not abort

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) promised her constituents that she will keep fighting for the right of their children, who were not killed in the womb, to have the right to kill their own unborn children when they grow up.

Frau Whitmer made the legal killing of the unborn a central part her her platform to Michigan voters after the Supreme Court put the issue back into the hands of the individual states and correctly took it away from the federal government. Unfortunately, most people have been led by the media to believe that all rights to kill the unborn were taken from them, but no, they can easily find a state where killing the unborn baby is considered a mother's health issue and right. 

Whitmer is hoping that her stance on killing the unborn will help her win a second term in November, in spite of her mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic and her concomitant hypocritical actions, as well as those of her husband's during her mandatory lockdowns. If indeed she wins a second term, Michigan will get what they deserve, good and hard.

“Abortion is still legal in Michigan, and I’ll never stop fighting to keep it that way. For my [living] kids, your [living] kids, and the future of our great state.” Whitmer tweeted Friday afternoon.

Abortion remains obtainable in the state thanks to a Court of Claims judge placing a stay on a 1931 abortion law that outlaws the practice, with the only exception being the life of the mother. In April, Whitmer filed a lawsuit and used executive action to urge the state’s highest court to look at the 1931 law.

Whitmer likes to call herself a staunch defender of killing babies in the womb, and perhaps one day, hopefully beyond it, like the former governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam, another Democrat. Northam believes that if the baby is born and made comfortable, but the mother still wants to kill him or her, she can discuss it with her abortionist.

Legacy media outlets like The Washington Post and Time recently ran glowing pieces on Whitmer. The Post even spotlighted her two pro-abortion college daughters in a piece headlined, “Gretchen Whitmer’s abortion fight — from the porch with her daughters.” [Fun Fact: Whitmer did not abort her daughters.]

Whitmer faces a re-election challenge in November from a Republican Party expecting a “red wave” in the midterms. Tudor Dixon (R) is a Trump-endorsed primary candidate running against her, and it would not surprise many of us if she gets the go-ahead nod from the voters to go up against Whitmer. She's articulate, intelligent and appears to have strong conservative values.

To appeal to Michigan voters, Whitmer appears set on making abortion a top issue, promising to “fight like hell” to protect abortion access, and the people in hell are cheering for her.
