Disney actress and husband convicted of child sex charge

Actress Zara Phythian, 37, and her adorable hubby Victor Marke, 59, have been convicted in England in a trial involving sexual abuse with two underage girls.

Phythian appeared in the 2016 movie "Doctor Strange," and she has lived up to the name as she was convicted of abusing a girl who was 13 when the three years of abuse began, and found guilty of 14 counts of abuse, according to the Times of London

Marke was found guilty of 18 counts of abuse from incidents with the same child his wife abused, and on four counts involving a second girl.

The newspaper reported during the trial that prosecutors said Phythian provided rum to the child who she abused and urged her to "play dare" with Marke. [This may be the English version of "Truth or Dare" but I dare not speculate.]

She also wanted the girl to mimic a sex act she performed on her husband.

The child was abused around twice a month over three years while being told to keep silent.

The dynamic duo will be sentenced today, according to the BBC. Both had been free during the trial but were locked up after their conviction on last Wednesday.

“Both of you know the sentence I pass on 16 May is likely to be measured by a considerable period of custody,” Judge Mark Watson said, according to the BBC.

In other words, they can expect to make a lot of new friends in low places.

Attorney James Varley, representing Pythian, had asked that his client be allowed to remain free prior to sentencing, according to the Nottingham Post. The Sheriff of Nottingham was not present at the trial.

“She has a house, a business, and a dog, and she has a lot to do between now and then. She would like two or three days to sort herself out for her business more than anything,” he said.

Nicole Hepburn of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said the couple had been “exposed as the true liars,” [See also Amber Heard.]

“It does take courage to stand up to your abusers and give evidence in this way and I would like to express my respect and gratitude to the survivors for everything they have done to ensure the Markes are held responsible for their criminal actions. This abuse may have occurred some years ago, but that makes it no less serious and nor is it a barrier to justice. I would encourage anyone who has been abused in the past to come forward with the knowledge that the CPS will take your case seriously.”

Pythian briefly cried actual tears, as opposed to Amber Heard, when the verdict was read.

Marke is a martial arts instructor and will tell his fellow inmates that he knows karate, so they better not mess with him.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple met when Pythian was 14 and his student. At the time, Marke was 37. Only they know what was going on between them at the time as Marke likes them young.

It makes the idea of chemical castration quite appealing.

Disney had no comment.
