White House needs to unditz the ditzy VP's claim about Covid

The White House calls it "clarifying" but anyone with a functional cortex knows that our Vice President is not the brightest light on the Kwanza kinara and when they have to "clarify," what they are really doing is unscrewing the screwup her words have created, specifically,  words about the government's prescience into the delta and omicron variants.

"We didn’t see delta coming. I think most scientists did not — upon whose advice and direction we have relied — didn’t see delta coming," Harris, in a moment of naive honesty, told the LA Times on Friday. "We didn’t see omicron coming. And that’s the nature of what this, this awful virus has been, which as it turns out, has mutations and variants."

Then she added, "Hahahahahahahahahaha."

"The Vice President’s comments referred to the exact kind of mutation," said a statement by a Harris adviser. [H/T Fox News] "The administration knew mutations were possible, it [is] the reason we ordered extra tests, extra gear and extra PPE."

Both delta and omicron variants are present in the United States and omicron is highly contagious and is expected to quickly replace the delta strain, which spread over the summer, but it appears to be significantly weaker and much less deadly, in spite of what the Biden administration tells you in order to scare you into unquestioned obedience. 

The White House added that the administration's focus on vaccinations, masking and social distancing was in preparation for possible variants even though none of those measures actually does much to quell the virus from spreading.

"It is the reason the President, Vice President and our entire administration warned early and often that the best way to get on the other side of the pandemic is to get vaccinated," they lied. "We were and continue to be prepared."

Harris was once was viewed as an heir apparent to Biden, but Democrats have caught on and see her for the incompetent clown that she is. They should have realized this during the presidential campaign when she couldn't even make it through the first primary without showing them how poorly she performs. They are reportedly considering other alternatives as well should the president decide not to seek reelection, completely lose bladder and bowel control along with most of his remaining cognitive abilities, or simply forget that he is President and not show up for work.

Anything is possible.
