Old Doc Fauci's clan not down with his flip-flopping

As the snowballs approach

Dr. Anthony Fauci's family have had it "up to here" with his inconsistent prescriptions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the country. They also disagree with his call for further national lockdowns.
See, the thing is, Fauci's focus is unilateral, specifically on what might best mitigate the spread of the virus, but it fails to account for the bigger picture, the damage that a lockdown would create if the little guy had his way.

Fauci's cousin Tony, is a New York restauranteur. He knows how another lockdown would destroy businesses and create mental health problems. Tony said that Dr. Fauci's blabbering about a coronavirus lockdown is backfiring on the US.

Tony owns the La Fontana restaurant in Staten Island, NY. He says that lockdowns don't work, and the irony is, Tony is correct and Dr. F is wrong.

The purpose of the lockdown was, admittedly, to flatten the curve in order for hospitals to keep from being overrun with the virus.

"They shouldn't do the lockdowns," the restaurant owner said. "Especially now. If you don't abide by the rules ... shut that area down, but don't shut down the whole industry."

Tony's son, Joey, agrees.

"In the beginning, I thought [Dr. Fauci] was fabulous, but then a few times he flip-flopped on different things," Joey said. "He had us all locked down at a tremendous rate. They should have loosened things up when it was slowing down in the summer. Everything else was loosening up except the restaurant business."

Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, was all down for nationwide lockdown and for getting rid of Thanksgiving plans for those who celebrate life in the United States and live in different households than their potential holiday guests.

He compared the sacrifice to biting a bullet, much like the bitten bullets the Lone Ranger [aka Kemosabee, which actually means "soggy shrub" in Navajo]  and other TV cowboys had to bite to assuage the pain caused by bullets fired, not bitten that winged them or worse.

“You may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice that social gathering, unless you're pretty certain that the people that you're dealing with are not infected," Fauci said in October. "That is unfortunately a risk, when you have people coming from out of town, gathering together in an indoor setting. It is unfortunate, because that's such a sacred part of American tradition — the family gathering around Thanksgiving. But that is a risk."

The only social gatherings Fauci apparently sees as risk-free are Antifa and BLM "peaceful protests" in which the flames caused by burning businesses kill the virus.
