Due to the fact the Palestinian Authority (PA) supports terror and also provides financial support to families of those terrorists who get killed as martyrs, the U.S. has cut most of the taxpayer-funded monies to the group. The money that goes to the families depends upon how "successful" the terror attack was--dead children earns them special bonus bucks.
In 2018, Congress passed the Taylor Force Act forbidding U.S. tax dollars to be sent to the PA while they continue to engage in what has become known as “pay for slay.”
President Trump signed the bill into law because unlike Obama, he doesn't side with terrorists.
Taylor Force, a U.S. army veteran, was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist while on a college trip in Israel.
In spite of this and in open defiance of the U.S., the PA has made it clear that it will continue this policy, thus symbolically flipping us off while the left still takes its side.
In a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Biden said, “I will reopen the U.S. consulate in East Jerusalem, find a way to reopen the PLO’s diplomatic mission in Washington, and resume the decades-long economic and security assistance efforts to the Palestinians that the Trump administration stopped.”
The Yiddish word for Joe Biden is "schmuck."
The PLO’s mission in Washington was closed due to a congressional mandate that obligated the United States to close the mission if the Palestinians tried to bring charges against Israel at the International Criminal Court.
Not surprisingly, the Palestinians did exactly that, and the Trump administration closed the mission — as per their legal obligation, and because Trump loves Israel, unlike former president Obama who hated Israel.
In addition to cutting funding of the PA due to the Taylor Force Act, the Trump administration cut most of the funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), an agency dedicated to helping Palestinian refugees from Israel’s War of Independence in 1948.
UNRWA operates mostly in the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian area that elected the terrorist Hamassholes to govern it. UNRWA has historically been complicit with Hamas and performing terror attacks against Israelis. They don't discriminate between men, women or children, but target them because they are Jews.
Since the U.S. embassy moved to Jerusalem, a promise only President Trump made good on, it opened a special Palestinian Affairs Unit to take care of their needs.
In making the announcement, Biden stated that his policies would advance the “two-state solution,” a priority of the Obama/Biden administration over the course of its eight-year tenure, which worked out as well as a broken record player.
“A priority now for the cause of Israeli-Palestinian peace should be resuming our dialogue with the Palestinians and pressing Israel not to take actions that make a two-state solution impossible,” an ill-informed Biden said referring to the Trump administration giving Israel the go ahead to annex the Jordan Valley region (viewed as crucial to Israel’s security).
The Obama/Biden duo saw Israel making all the concessions to the Palestinians as their administration demanded, but the two-state solution never came to fruition because the Palestinians refused every chance to negotiate a deal.
Notwithstanding the fact that funding the PA’s “pay for slay” policy is illegal as far as the U.S. is concerned, "Gropey" Joe is obviously unconcerned about the immorality of forcing American taxpayers to finance Palestinian terror against Israeli citizens.
Biden’s immoral and illegal policy positions are an insult to the citizens of Israel and to those ten or eleven Palestinians who truly want peace.
