George Lopez, who is not in a relationship with Kathy Griffin, tweeted on Monday after commenting on Instagram, that he would kill President Trump to secure the Iranian bounty of $80 million offered by the terrorist nation after Trump ordered the droning of Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani. The offer was made during the funeral of Soleimani in which the General was in attendance, at least in part. The bounty has not actually been confirmed, but Lopez is hoping.
In addition, Lopez generously agreed to kill Trump at the bargain price of only $40 million but didn't explain how he planned to carry out the assassination. [See, it's an assassination when the act is illegal, and not an assassination in Soleimani's case since he was a viable, legal terrorist target.]
Lopez's exact words were: "We'll do it for half," leading us to believe that he personally lacks the testicular fortitude to carry out the assassination himself, but might be willing to hire out the wet work to someone else, perhaps Kathy Griffin.
Americans were rightfully upset with Lopez and "arrest George Lopez" was soon trending on Twitter.
Turning Points USA founder and president Charlie Kirk tweeted that the comment was “sick” and worth an investigation from the Secret Service. Let's face it, if they could investigate Kathy Griffin for the photo of her holding a fake decapitated Trump head, they can investigate Lopez for actually implying he would kill our president.
Mark Levin referred to the mediocre comedian as a "lowlife." Others believe the Secret Service should get involved.
Commentators on the left who may agree with Lopez's words weren’t as quick to condemn the comedian. Chris Matthews said, "Hey, ah vowerbah Trump is bahdamta feembleduft," or something sounding like that.
The left tried to convince us that pro-Trumpers applauded Ted Nugent who called for the killing of Barack Obama, but I don't know any who actually thought it was okay to say that. The mistake Trump made about this is that he invited Nugent to the White House afterward.
Anyway, do you believe Lopez should be questioned by the Secret Service or just let it go? Your comments are always welcome.
