Doctor faces unprofessional conduct charges for his honesty

South Africa -- Jacque de Vos, 32, a pro-life physician, told his patient that an abortion kills a human being. Had he said that it merely destroys a clump of cells much like cancer cells, he would have been lauded by the pro-abortion heartless.

The doctor was completing his internship more than two years ago when he was charged with alleged medical misconduct by the Health Professions Council of South Africa.

The Herald Live said that de Vos's hearing in front of the council was postponed this week and rescheduled for Oct. 28, according to IOL News.

“The hearing was first scheduled for August 2018. Since the beginning of 2018 we have been asking for the information that we are entitled to by law,” said Martus de Wet, De Vos’s attorney who added that the long process has been "very frustrating," and that de Vos, who is pro-life, is "being punished but denied the basis for it and an opportunity to answer."

The doctor has not been able to practice for over two years and "has severe health challenges," de Wet said.

No less than 20,000 people have signed a petition supporting de Vos and urging the council to drop all charges against him, IOL News reported.

“De Vos has the right to freedom of conscience and religious belief and should not be coerced to sign up to the culture of death mentality that ludicrously and ignorantly claims that human life does not begin at conception,” the petition reads.

During the hearing, de Vos plans to defend his position that human life begins at conception with expert witnesses and scientific evidence, according to the reports.

If it isn't life that begins at conception, then what is it?

According to the bs charges, de Vos allegedly “infringed” on the patient’s “autonomy with his anti-abortion utterances.” During his medical internship at 2 Military Hospital in Wynberg, he allegedly told a pregnant woman that her “fetus was a human being” and an abortion kills an unborn human, Sowetan Live reported earlier this summer.

If a fetus isn't a human being, what is it? Look at any sonogram and decide if even at a few weeks whether you're looking at a human being or a clump of cells. [If you choose the latter, you should consider making friends with the woman from the far-right group that told AOC at her town hall meeting that her Green New Deal didn't go far enough and we all should start eating babies to save the planet.]

The "utterances," a term used to delegitimize the facts, are not simply de Vos's opinion--they are proven, scientific facts that can now be found in biology and medical textbooks, agreed to by medical experts and even abortionists, that human life begins at conception.

Abortion kills human beings, not a clump of cells.

I suspect that in the not so very distant future, we are going to look back at this period in our history and see ourselves as immoral contributors to sick societal norms.

Sadly, de Vos lost his job over this and was banned from practicing medicine because he refused to deny abortion kills babies. And he was merely one week away from completing his medical degree.
