Rep. Occasionally-Coherent claims 'powerful people are trying to bribe ' Trump into war with Iran

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Occasionally-Coherent [Duh--NY] tweeted on Friday that "powerful people" are trying to get President Trump to get into a war with Iran and they are trying to bribe him with money in spite of the fact that he refuses to even take a paycheck as president.

The low-functioning socialist quoted a tweet by David Fahrenthold of the  Washington Post. The article linked an article revealing documents obtained from Trump Hotels.

According to the Post's report, an Iraqi sheik stayed at a suite in Trump's hotel in Washington D.C. for 26 days, ironically the same number of days as there are miles in a marathon road race. Supposedly this sheik urged the Trump administration to take a "hard-line" approach towards Iran in July 2018 and AOC is trying to blame the Trump administration for the act of the sheik. That's like blaming 911 on Larry Silverstein for building the World Trade Center and getting in the way of those planes.

"Sure looks like powerful people are trying to bribe the President into war," the pretty and woke schmuckelette tweeted.

"Yep. It sure looks that way, so maybe we can use that to impeach Trump."

The salsa-dancing socialist's tweet garnered more than 30,000 likes by her fellow Trump-haters and 7,000 retweets in under five hours, but responses to her statement were varied.

Concerns about escalating tensions between the United States and Iran prompted Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to proclaim that the Trump administration is ready to sit down with Iran's leaders for a conversation with "no preconditions."

The "no preconditions" may be a mistake, but it doesn't pay to second-guess Trump, just as I did with his tariff plan with Mexico [which may actually do what he intended it to.]

Pompeo added, however, that "the American effort to fundamentally reverse the malign activity of this Islamic Republic, this revolutionary force, is going to continue."

But let's be very clear: President Trump absolutely does not want to go to war with Iran or any other country. If Iran poses a "credible threat," that's another story. Although he said that even with threats, he doesn't want usto go to war, but would do so if necessary.

That's the correct strategy rather than the Obama strategy of sending Iran money and hope they'll be nice to us.
