Israeli Defense Forces announced it had neutralized all of Hezbollah's terror tunnels that originated form Kafr Kila, a sleepy little village in Lebanon. Yeah, sleepy, my foot.
They released a video showing that at least one of the tunnels originated in Lebanon, The Times of Israel reported Thursday.
In addition to merely blowing up the sneaky structures, the IDF has also pumped cement into the tunnel from the Israeli side to render them impassible.
Subsequently, the IDF released video showing that the liquid exited in residential areas in southern Lebanon, revealing the location of the tunnel’s entrance. Imagine the homeowner's look of utter consternation waking up to his eyeballs in cement.

Here's a cool video of the results of the cement where it spilled out on the Lebanese side, showing that the tunnel was dug between homes and a factory: pic.twitter.com/KKXGIsqxW3
“This fact points to Hezbollah’s use of civilian structures in the heart of built-up areas in southern Lebanon, endangering its citizens as human shields in grave violation of [UN Security Council] Resolution 1701,” the IDF said in a statement. Resolution 1701 ended the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah and it prohibited the presence of any armed forces in southern Lebanon other than the Lebanese army.

Thus far, IDF has destroyed a total of five tunnels, although Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus did not specify the number of tunnels originating in Kafr Kila or the number the IDF will need to destroy. Operation Northern Shield, the effort to find and destroy the Hezbollah tunnels, which began Dec. 4th, could continue for several more weeks.
Conricus also pointed out a 2013 Hezbollah propaganda movie that said Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed terror group, had a three-pronged plan for capturing the Galilee. The movie showed an invasion of northern Israel taking place under a barrage of rocket fire, accompanied by both aboveground and underground invasion forces.
Conricus also said that while Israel holds Lebanon responsible for the violation of Israeli sovereignty, it was Hezbollah that was constructing the tunnels.
The Israel Project, which publishes The Tower, produced a video [below] explaining the threat posed by the terror tunnels and emphasizing Hezbollah’s tactic of using human shields to protect its military buildup.
Imagine what it must be like for Israelis living near the border to have the worry that terrorists may be digging their way toward your home to kill you and your family.
