New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Sunday that New York City socialist Mayor de Blasio would be judged by a higher power for his incompetent handling of the city's Housing Authority. Cuomo was referring to God intimating that he has a special relationship with the Lord.
"You're in government, you're supposed to make things happen, you're supposed to actually produce results for people," God's spokesman said. "When we get to the pearly gates, I'm sure God will have a lot to say about it."
Cuomo did not reveal what his Boss would say, but it certainly would not be approval of de Blasio's screw-ups.
De Blasio's spokes socialist Eric Phillips sarcastically retorted, "We're glad Gov. Cuomo's obsession with Bill de Blasio has the governor focusing on NYCHA for the first time in his long political career."
City Hall agreed to a deal with federal prosecutors set to pump up to $2.2 billion of taxpayer money over the next ten years into the city's screwed up public housing.
But to repair the 326 developments that are falling apart, NYCHA will require $31.8 billion to do the job, making the $2.2 billion chump change.
The deal will also require the city to agree to a federal monitor to oversee NYCHA because officials there lied about lead inspections, putting thousands of toddlers at risk.
"When NYCHA tenants made their voices heard, it was Governor Cuomo who answered our call," Danny Barber, the head of the Citywide Council of Presidents said.
De Blasio is arguably the worst mayor the city has ever elected and a flaming socialist.
