Trump tweets attacking top FBI officials

President Trump is back on Twitter tweeting about FBI Deputy Director and soon to be retired Andrew McCabe and FBI General Counsel James Baker. Both McCabe and Baker have recently been the targets of Republican critics.

Trump tweeted:
"FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is racing the clock to retire with full benefits. 90 days to go?!!!"
The tweet was apparently referring to a story published by The Washington Post on Saturday saying that McCabe plans to retire once he's eligible for benefits in a few months.

In response to that tweet, conservative documentary filmmaker and writer, Dinesh D'Souza tweeted:
"TIMING IS EVERYTHING: fire his ass three days before he becomes eligible."
Sounds like a good plan.

Republicans don't believe McCabe is really a Republican based on his ties to the Democratic Party, the same party in which his wife ran for a Virginia Senate seat in 2015.

"How can FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man in charge, along with leakin' James Comey, of the Phony Hillary Clinton investigation (including her 33,000 illegally deleted emails) be given $700,000 for wife's campaign by Clinton Puppets during investigation?" Trump asked using punctuation from the Isle of Nowhere.

The President also commented on the news that Baker, the top lawyer for the FBI, is being reassigned to another role at the agency. He tweeted:

"Wow, "FBI lawyer James Baker reassigned," according to @FoxNews,"
The Washington Post reported that Baker was leaving as top lawyer and being reassigned at the bureau, [perhaps as special investigator into everything Trump does that can be used against him for impeachment purposes].

The Post said that Baker "had been caught up in a strange interagency dispute that led to a leak probe and attracted the attention of senior lawmakers," but that isn't why he's being reassigned, the newspaper said.

On Friday, Politico published a story saying House Republicans were looking into Baker's contacts with a leftist reporter from the progressive magazine Mother Jones, just weeks before the 2016 election.

Former FBI Director Long-tall James Comey who needs to constantly be in the limelight, defended the bureau's move of their top lawyer and suggested the move was political, much like his advice on not indicting Hillary Clinton for her illegal email server with top secret information on it.

"Sadly, we are now at a point in our political life when anyone can be attacked for partisan gain," Comey hypocritically tweeted Friday night.

He tweeted a rather long Bible passage but it had way too many characters for Twitter to post it so it was lost in the ether.

Anyway, it's Christmas Eve Day and I want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas of the genus Merry. Be safe and have a happy New Year.

Peace.
