Kirsten Gillibrand is America's political weathervane. She knows which way the wind blows and is willing to blow along with it whenever it suits her political needs.
When the Democratic Party supported Bill Clinton, Gillibrand was right there with them, accepting money for her campaign, and allowing Bill to put his sleazy arm around her. She stood next to him with a smile on her face.
She also supported Hillary Clinton, of course, in spite of the fact that this so-called "feminist" attacked the women who accused Bill of sexual misconduct, including harassment and rape.
In a Fox News report, Tucker Carlson ripped Gillibrand for her obvious hypocrisy.
And President Trump ripped into the New York senator on Tuesday, calling her a "lightweight" after she tweeted calling for his resignation based on past allegations of sexual misconduct. Trump called the claims "false" and "fabricated."
Gillibrand only now called for an investigation into Bill Clinton after years of knowing his reputation.
Three female accusers in a TV press conference interview on Monday revived the claims that the president was sexually inappropriate, as they shifted sexual harassment claims from Senators Conyer and Franken to President Trump. They said on CNN that Trump should also resign.
Of course, Trump reacted to them and tweeted this on Tuesday:
Just before Trump tweeted to Gillibrand, he rejected the accounts of the three women and claimed the focus is on them because Democrats couldn't prove collusion in the Russian probe.
Trump tweeted:
Last month, after waiting years before the time was ripe, Gillibrand told The New York Times, an anti-Trump canary cage liner, that Bill Clinton should have resigned the presidency over his affair with Monica Lewinsky.
But not over the alleged rape of Juanita Broaddrick and sexual misconduct with:
But that was then for Gillibrand, this is now.
The hypocrisy is palpable.

Of course, Trump reacted to them and tweeted this on Tuesday:
"Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office 'begging' for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!"The weathervane fired back:
"You cannot silence me or the millions of women who have gotten off the sidelines to speak out about the unfitness and shame you have brought to the Oval Office."And here I am thinking all along that it was Bill Clinton who brought shame to the Oral Office.
Just before Trump tweeted to Gillibrand, he rejected the accounts of the three women and claimed the focus is on them because Democrats couldn't prove collusion in the Russian probe.
Trump tweeted:
"Despite thousands of hours wasted and many millions of dollars spent, the Democrats have been unable to show any collusion with Russia--so now they are moving onto false accusations and fabricated stories of women who I don't know and/or have never met. FAKE NEWS!"The women spoke on NBC's "Megyn Kelly Today," and also at a New York City press conference. This is an old story the Democrats have rekindled after they simultaneously sacrificed Al Franken and John Conyers to gain the moral high ground.
Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, a pair of anonymous women in their 20s, Gennifer Flowers, Leslie Millwee, and allegedly with underage girls on a private jet known colloquially as "Air F**k One."
But that was then for Gillibrand, this is now.
The hypocrisy is palpable.
