Fired CBS exec whining that she's being harassed for her Vegas remarks

Hater of country music fans
Poor, poor Hayley Geftman-Gold.

She's the former legal executive at CBS who was fired for posting on her Facebook page that she had no sympathy for the Las Vegas massacre victims.

The post was up even before the bodies were removed from the scene of the carnage. The reason she gave for her lack of sympathy was that most people who attend country music concerts are Republicans.

What a sensitive Democrat she is.

Now the poor dear told the New York Police Department that she's being harassed online, officers said Wednesday.

Her words: "If they wouldn't do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Republicans will ever do the right thing. I'm actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters."

For some reason she sees the dead and wounded as responsible for the Sandy Hook murders in Newtown, CT--that's pretty sick.

Her post went viral and, for some reason, it upset normal individuals who viewed her words as more than insensitive and misinformed--they saw it as ugly and evil.

She told police that she began getting threats on her Facebook page and they are investigating the complaint. (Maybe she ought to buy a gun.)

CBS called the disgusting post "unacceptable" and fired her.

The post goes way beyond 'unacceptable.'

As typically seen from people who are caught and outed for saying horrible things, Geftman-Gold apologized for her remarks:
"Earlier today I posted an indefensible post in a Facebook discussion thread concerning the tragic Las Vegas shooting, a statement I sincerely regret."
But what is it that she really regrets? Saying it? Or saying it and getting caught saying it?
