Cops and EMS won't stand for the kneeling

Cleveland, Ohio police union head and its Emergency Medical Services union will not participate in Colors at the start of Cleveland Brown NFL football games. This comes after a dozen starters on the team took a knee for the National Anthem last week.

According to the Cleveland Plain Pot Dealer, Browns tight end (the perfect position for him) Seth DeValve, wide receiver Kenny Britt (who really should move to Great Britain), Duke Johnson (who is no John Wayne), Christian Kirksey, Jamie Collins, Ricardo Louis and Jamar Taylor went down on their knees near the team bench rather than showing respect for the American flag and our National Anthem.

Det. Steve Loomis, president of the police union, said the department wasn't protesting the players personally, simply because they are unpatriotic, rich complainers, whose athletic skills are no match for their arrogance.

No, Loomis is not protesting their rights regarding freedom of speech and expression, even if that expression is loathsome and provided to them by the country to which they are disrespecting.
White privilege

"We're not going to participate in something with the Cleveland Browns when the management and NFL [front office] condones this behavior."

Loomis blasted Cleveland Police Chief and PC butt-kisser Calvin Williams, who said he accepted the player's decision to refuse to stand out of respect for the USA.

Williams made a feeble attempt of trying to defend his PC butt-kissing by claiming that the decision to boycott was "simply not the viewpoint of all of our officers."

Loomis responded, "Calvin Williams is not in touch with reality. They're absolutely with us."

EMD union chief Dan Nemeth called the player's decision to disrespect the flag and anthem was "deeply disturbing," and added that as athletes who children look up to, those players should "set the example for our youth."

Unfortunately, it appears they do--that's the problem, of late.
