Griffin gone from CNN and soon forgotten

It was apparently a tough call for the brain trusts at CNN but they finally concluded, after much deliberation, to terminate the hosting duties of Kathy Griffin on the New Year's Eve program. You may remember Griffin making sexual innuendos to Anderson Cooper, who is gay and wasn't interested. In fact, he seemed rather embarrassed about it.

But that isn't the reason they terminated her. No, making sexual innuendos related to oral sex can only get you a raise with CNN.

This time Griffin tried to rekindle her mediocre career by trying to shock the public with an ISIS-like beheading photo of her holding President Trump's bloody head.

Imagine how Trump's family must have felt.

Cooper tweeted about the shock photo Tuesday:
"For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate."
It would be wise for the Trump administration to demand an investigation by the Secret Service and call in Griffin and the photographer, Shields for further questioning. In other words, make it an inconvenient situation for anyone threatening the President of the United States in such a way.

It's also noteworthy that Griffin said in a video after the photo shoot that she expected to get into some trouble.

It was premeditated, and she is a loser.

I don't care who the president happens to be--you respect the office and you don't threaten him or her.

I wonder what it would have taken for CNN to terminate someone on the spot for their anti-Trump behavior. Probably an actual assault.

Griffin has every right to suck, however, because it's a free country, so far.
