FLASH: Trump gets NRA endorsement

Donald Trump was endorsed enthusiastically Friday by the NRA at the convention in Louisville, KY.

Trump had been a member of the NRA for many years, he said, and his sons, even longer. He stated that he was honored to get their endorsement--the NRA typically does not endorse presidential candidates this early in the election cycle.

The Donald had once claimed that no other American family loves the Second Amendment more than his own, using his 'down home' hyperbole we all know and love.

Chris Cox, the NRA Executive Director, introduced the presumptive GOP presidential candidate, referring to him as "the next president of the United States, Donald Trump."

Trump accused Clinton of wanting to "abolish the Second Amendment" and promised that would never happen with him as president. He next went into the current scorecard between Team Trump vs. Team Clinton. He also challenged the pseudo-feminist to release he potential Supreme Court picks.

Cox said, in a written statement that "The stakes in this year's presidential election could not be higher for gun owners. If Hillary Clinton gets the opportunity to replace Antonin Scalia with an anti-gun Supreme Court justice, we will lose the individual right to keep a gun in the home for self-defense . . . So the choice for gun owners in this election is clear. And that choice is Donald Trump."
