Denying deniers

In response to the Obama administration's latest efforts at possibly suing "climate deniers," using the RICO Act, the GOP plans to counter that suit, should it go forward, by suing the administration for being Islamic terrorist deniers.

For some reason, conservatives believe terrorism is a problem requiring more immediate response than climate change, while the left believes the biggest threat the world faces is man-made climate change.

The Obama administration has stated that 97% of scientists believe in climate change. Conservative lawmakers responded by saying that in the year 1492, approximately 97% of the world's leading scientists believed the earth was flat.

When Galileo demonstrated that the earth was not the center of the universe, the Church issued him a house arrest in the latter years of his life. The Church, in this case, is the Church of Climate Change (which had to actually change its name from the Church of Global Warming when things got colder).
