Ex-Gitmo detainee arrested in Uruguay

Montevideo-- Thankfully it was just a case of Islamic domestic violence and not terrorism to more than one person. An Uruguayan police official reported that a former Gitmo detainee has been arrested on a domestic violence complaint.

Syrian national Omar Abdelhadi Faraj was detained on Friday for following the Koran (Sura 4:34) which divinely sanctions wife-beating. The Koran allows men to beat their disobedient wives after first warning them and then sending them to sleep in separate beds.

There is nothing in the Koran advising men what to do if all four of their wives simultaneously attack him.

Faraj arrived with five other detainees in Uruguay in December 2014. The following June, he married an Uruguayan woman who had converted to Islam.

If Uruguay would only adopt Sharia law, that would save the police a lot of time and effort so they could pursue "real" crime.
