Nairobi, Kenya -- Nine dead, ten injured by suicide attack at the Sahafi Hotel in Mogadishu, the capital of Somali, a police official said.
Anyone willing to wear explosives on their body, or drive an explosive-filled vehicle to kill others, knowing full-well that they don't stand a chance in hell of not being blown to shreds once they set it off, has either got to be crazy, mentally challenged, or believe that this act will ensure them an eternal afterlife.
Or perhaps all three.
Capt. Mohamed Hussein (no known relation to Barack Hussein Obama) said the attack began at dawn when a suicide bomber detonated the explosive-laden vehicle at the hotel gate. Next, gunmen on foot shot at people in the hotel, hoping their jihad would get them into Paradise.
"They have killed the owner of the hotel, a former military general and other officials during the attack," Capt. Hussein said. "There's a hostage situation inside the hotel."
Al-Shabaab, (an Arabic term meaning "the Youth) and a group aligned with al-Qaeda (practically destroyed by Obama's own hands) claimed to have waged the attack against the U.N.-backed government, using their website to make the claim.
This is not the first time this hotel has been targeted as it is used by government officials and business executives.
Presently, there are Somali and African Union forces at the scene of the religious jihad attack, according to the African Union Mission in Somalia, who posted on Twitter.
Anyone who believes that Al Shabaab, al-Qaeda, ISIS and all the other Islamic terror groups are not true Islam, ought to read about Islam before making that suicidal claim.
