What a debate. Clinton's Neo Benghazi Network (CNBC) really came out of the GOP debate smelling like a dump, and I don't mean a dump of the garbage persuasion. The moderators were snarky, arrogant leftists who will never vote for a Republican in their narrow lives and should have never been given the task of moderating this debate in the first place. The questions they asked were as thought provoking as a glass of water.
Now the RNC head Reince Priebus is vowing to look into his party's presidential debates and make some changes. And he'd better, because his own party isn't too happy with his judgment regarding these debates and want to remove power from the RNC.
A report by Politico said that the GOP campaigns would be getting together Sunday night to discuss the next debate and possibly changing the way they are run. The RNC is not invited to participate in this discussion. The Carson, Huckabee, Graham and Santorum campaigns confirmed their presence.
Preibus spoke on Fox News' "Hannity" that he knows the candidates are frustrated and promised that changes are coming. "I just can't tell you how pissed off I am," he said candidly, adding, "What was delivered [on Wednesday] was just nothing but a crap sandwich."
The fact that most conservatives saw it coming but Preibus didn't speaks volumes.
On a more positive Preibus note, he wrote to NBC News Chairman Andrew Lack (his coworkers call him "Andy Lack-O-Integrity") saying the RNC would be "suspending the partnership with NBC News" regarding the debate at the University of Houston on February 26, 2016.
Preibus complained the CNBC debate was "conducted in bad faith" and wanted to ensure there would be no repeat of the same. "The RNC's role in the primary debate process is to ensure that our candidates are given a full and fair opportunity to lay out their vision for America's future. We simply cannot continue with NBC without full consultation with our campaigns.," Preibus wrote. He did, however, say that the candidates would still have a debate on February 26th.
NBC "News" replied in a statement, calling the move a "disappointing development," but added that the network would "work in good faith to resolve this matter with the Republican Party."
If the GOP goes along with this crap and debates on NBC, they don't deserve to win the presidency. If this is an acceptable strategy in a presidential debate, imagine their strategy against Islamic terrorism.
Dump NBC, CNN and all of the mainstream media networks. They're in it to win it for the Democratic Party and they will not be asking Clinton and her socialist mannequins the same rude questions she asked Republicans.
Even CNN Money said that "claims of media bias are both a shield and a sword." They add that "it's a way to deflect tough, unwelcome questions," but never did CNN Money take into account how the questions were asked. CNN only wanted to defend the media, not explain how they were inappropriately attacking the candidates.
Of course attacking the media can be a shield, but in the case of the debate, not attacking them would define you as a weakling like President Obama.
Preibus told Hannity that aside from ensuring "CNBC isn't hosting and moderating another debate with our candidates," the party will review "everything" about the debates.
What a box of buffalo chips!
There should be no libtards asking libtard questions. Period. The questions were allegedly going to be about the economy, but that was a joke, like the moderators.
No mainstream media network should make a single nickel off the GOP debate. That's like sending money to the Pakistani government. Eventually, you're sorry you made such a stupid decision.
Do the debates on Fox News.
Most people right of center enjoy Fox News, although many on the far right think they've gone over to the left. Many in that category believe that if you don't entirely think like them, that makes you a RINO.
I don't believe that Fox is left of center, but I see their point because when you listen to the schmuckmuffins like Fowler or Rivera talking or screaming at reasonable conservative points you wonder why the station allows them to speak.
The difference is that Fox actually allows you to hear the other side of the coin, even though it pisses off conservatives. That's how I know they're reasonably fair and balanced like they advertise--they often piss me off.
Insofar as Preibus is concerned, if he allows any debates to be led by the Candy Crowley school of Journalism crowd, kick him off the RNC.
It is really time for the GOP to get tough and take a stand, dammit.
Fox Business Network and the Wall Street Journal will host the next GOP debate on November 10.
