Obama Clown |
Racist Mask |
Political satire has always been an important part of the country's discourse; just look at Will Rodgers for just one of many examples. The Obama-loving left would have us say nothing negative about the president. Sometimes the truth, like a horse pill taken by someone with Barrett's Disease, is hard to swallow.
CNN's take on it wasn't quite the same as mine. While I saw the clown as not funny and rather vile, I didn't see it as something to be banned for life over. "The stunt angered a member of the audience, Perry Beam . . ." who "likened the atmosphere to a Klan rally." I suspect Beam is a Democrat and being one should make him feel comfortable at Klan rallies since that's who they're comprised of--and how would he know what the atmosphere at one of these rallies is like anyway? Hmm. CNN went on to quote, "The sport of rodeo isn't meant to be a political platform . . . yadda yadda," anymore than the IRS or Attorney General are supposed to have political leanings.
The Lieutenant Governor of Missouri, Peter Kinder, had some unkind words, calling for those responsible to be held accountable (but not those responsible for the attack on Benghazi, the cover up of same, or those responsible for allowing guns to 'walk' over the Mexican border in that
phony scandal we call Fast and Furious.)
CBS's reported the story in much the same leftist way that CNN did. They failed to see the hypocrisy in the outrage of their leftist audience. The same hypocrites who want this clown's head, laughed at the movie where the likeness of George Bush's head was on a stake.
Byron York of the Washington Examiner and frequent Fox News commentator, had a different take, one to which I tend to agree. York said that while the act was stupid, it wasn't any worse than what those on the left have been getting away with since Washington was a Corporal. He cited examples of how Bush was called a monkey on more than one occasion by leftist journalists, who merely had to apologize then wait for their next promotions. He said, in effect, that if you weren't in a coma during the Bush years, you would clearly recall the numerous times the left openly made fun of him.
But maybe Obama is thin skinned--maybe he refuses to take any criticism because there might be a ring of truth to it. After all, you just have to look at the economy, particularly with the number of blacks and other minorities out of work, the mass of people leaving the job market because there's nothing out there to find, and his Obamacare debacle to see how unsuccessful he has been as a bystander president. He doesn't want to get involved with much of anything except supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, gay marriage, and dividing the country using racism as his tool.

I hope my skin reference, my calling him thin-skinned, will not label me a racist by the left, but I'm sure they'll find something else to use to suit that purpose. After all, when you honestly think about it, what else do liberals use on us--certainly not logic.
