Yo Joe, Where'd Ya Go?

It's good to know that while president Obama is in Northern Ireland for the G8 conference, our country is in good hands with Joe Biden at the helm. Wait--where is Biden? He's been laying low lately and I believe that with all the scandals going on, this is probably the smartest thing he's ever done in his life. Of course he didn't lay completely low. He appeared on June 11th at a fund raiser for Ed Markey where he claims the GOP has changed and now we're beholden to Ted Cruz and Rand Paul. Biden bellowed that the great state of Massachusetts does not need a Republican senator because Obama needs a Democrat to push his socialistic ideas through--actually he didn't exactly say that, but you get my point.


So the question we need to consider is whether Biden is biding his time in the hope of staying untouched by the scandals and be "clean" for a run at the top job in 2016? I have a feeling that this is his game. Can you imagine a country with Joe Biden at the helm? I cannot imagine a great country would be stupid enough to elect the Village Idiot to run the show. But hey, we elected Obama.

My latest novel, Jihad Joe, is about Islamic terrorism and suspense.  In it I challenge the precepts of the religion through my protagonist, Zed Nill, a journalist, captured by terrorists and who is destined to be killed if the American President refuses to release three Gitmo prisoners.  Of course, American policy demands we never give in to terrorists, and for Zed, the clock is ticking.
