There is nobody in the Obama administration who I feel more sorry for than Joltin' Joe Biden. He has a tough decision to make; a decision that he will wrestle with every night in his dreams until he decides what he is going to do.
The decision whether to follow suit of the empty suits and take a symbolic cut in his salary like Obama, Jack Lew, and others have taken to show us peons how gracious and sympathetic they are to the government lay-offs due to the sequester that Obama put forth.
It sounds like a huge coincidence that so many under Obama have decided to forgo part of their incomes, but I suspect that they'll make it up with the other perks we taxpayers give them. But Joe is having difficulty saying yes to the cut for himself. After all, his wife, Jill, is a physician and makes only slightly more than minimum wage with the Obamacare regulations, and Joe, well, as Vice President (a job he took only because he thought he'd get to deal with vice and the women who make it so), is only $379 thousand, an amount he considers only middle class. And how can we blame the guy when he spent more than that in hotel bills in one day just recently?
No wonder he only gave about $5540 in charity last year--poor guy. Now they want him to take a salary cut? Sheesh.
