Sen. Bob Menendez's wife accused of plotting to act as Egyptian agents in new indictment

Shady Senator Bob Menendez, his lovely wife Nadine, and an Egyptian-born businessman living in New Jersey were charged with another count of conspiracy for a public official to act as a foreign agents in a superseding indictment presented on Thursday.

Bobby "Bag-O-Donuts" Menendez, the 69-year-old New Jersey senator [for now] faces four counts in a case brought by Manhattan prosecutors. It accuses Bobby of accepting gold, cash, a Mercedes-Benz and other items in exchange for his influence to help Wael Hana and two others. They were all charged with helping Menendez, who was already accused of covertly lobbying his Senate colleagues to unfreeze $300,000,000 in military aid earmarked for Cairo officials, on behalf of Egypt without disclosing it to the US government.

Now Bobby and Nadine have been charged with an additional count of conspiracy for a public official to act as a foreign agent in a superseding indictment.

The new indictment includes damning details regarding an alleged May 2019 meeting in Bobby met in his Washington DC office with an Egyptian intelligence official to discuss Congress’s reservations about funding the Egyptian military in light of a 2015 Egyptian airstrike on a tourist group that seriously injured an American citizen.

At the time, some members of Congress were objecting to the US providing Egypt with military aid due to the attack, according to the court papers unsealed in Manhattan federal court.

  1. Yes. Menendez et al have been getting away with all kinds of criminal activity for years but this one is the worst because it involves Egypt, taxpayer money and conspiracy of a public official.
