Some Senators will now be allowed to dress like slobs

Good news! Upper house U.S. Senators will now be allowed to dress any way they want, even if it's the same way Pennsylvania Democrat Senator John Fetterman dresses.

Fetterman, as you may know, dresses like he's lounging around his home watching "House of Cards" in his shorts and hoodie. All he needs is a Bud Light in his paws and a slice of pizza to perfect the look.

Now the US Senate will no longer enforce a dress code for members of the upper house but this will not be so for " . . . others entering the chamber must comply with the dress code. Coats/ties for men. Business attire for women," Chad Pergram, the Senior Congressional Correspondent for Fox News tweeted.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck "Nostrils" Schumer (D-NY) covertly sent the directive to the Senate's Sergeant at Arms, Axios reported.

Of course, this change will allow Fetterman and other uncaring slobs to dress like kids who've been kicked out of school for the way they dressed.

Fetterman suffered a severe, life-threatening stroke which turned his speech into Biden-like blather, but his use of a computer program, to help him with intake and output of communication, allowed him to elevate his verbalizations to be on par with those of VP Kamala Harris. He spent six weeks at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center where he was treated for "clinical depression." He also suffered hearing loss and was fitter for hearing aids.

When the style-starved senator returned to do the work of the people, he refused to dress like a professional and came up with a "workaround" to the Senate dress code.

"He votes from the doorway of the Democratic cloakroom or the side entrance, making sure his ‘yay’ or ‘nay’ is recorded before ducking back out."

"The tips are happy fine business," Fetterman said, referring to the few quarters and dollar bills he receives handing out cloaks without knowing who they actually belong to.

"Senators are able to choose what they wear on the Senate floor. I will continue to wear a suit," Schumer told Axios, with the proverbial stick still in place where no man has tread before.

  1. Fetterman should have NEVER been allowed to office

    1. They should seriously consider requiring cognitive testing for all members of the 3 branches. Even McConnell, Feinstein and Pelosi should be required to take one, and maybe even term limits should be on the table.
